Generally, when you choose a major, you need ask whether you like it or not.
W/O true interests, even later on you get a job, working everyday will be
a suffer.
The second question you need ask yourself is whether you have the talent. If
there is a gap between your current skill/knowledge and the future career,
can you overcome it? how much effort you want/you can to put in to overcome
it?

昨天晚上签好了新车的所有paperwork，等着今天早上拿到保险就可以取新车了。
昨天晚上10点多就在craigslist上贴了广告卖旧车。
车本身开着没什么问题，我买了以后开了6年不到，171K mileage，我平时也做常规保养
。
缺点是上面的漆全脱了，右后面的门不能power control了，钥匙插不进右边副驾驶座的
们。Registration5月到期，要做smog check。
我拍了外面的照片两张，车里面的照片4张，整理了一下贴上去。要价$2200。
10分钟后收到一个电话，说非常想要，要想看看，我说白天我要上班，没时间，但是晚
上可以来看，如果别人先来看要了我会通知他。有收到几个text message说很感兴趣，
想要看看。
早上5点说正在做美梦，电话又响了，没理，6点钟，又响了，还是没理，又想了，直接

明的专利中得以体现。
除了管理苹果的日常运营工作外，乔布斯还在公司的众多产品开发过程中扮演了重要角
色，从Macintosh电脑到iPod、iPhone和iPad。在苹果的专利组合中，共有313项将乔布
斯列为“主要发明人”或“共同发明人”。相比而言，微软联合创始人比尔·盖茨(Bil
l Gates)仅被列为了9项专利的发明人，谷歌联合创始人拉里·佩奇(Larry Page)和塞吉
·布林(Sergey Brin)也不过“十几项”。

GS哪有200 b cash,大部分都可以都是short term investment,也是generate return的
,真正的cash也就5,60个bil. |

如果是文件数据的话，一般每个文件几个到几十个g，大概上千个文件吧
小于这个数都不好叫big data。当然你设计的时候可以先用比这些小100倍的东西试，
但是最后都要用大的set来测试的。
其实这都不是挑战的地方。挑战的地方在于分布存储，实时数据和历史数据结合等等，
所以最后要上map reduce，要把数据整合的过程前移。
当然很多olap不需要符合ACID，这点就好很多了。而要求ACID的数据库单个多数不大，
所以这就好多了。 |

增加的资产%应该用增加的量除以原来的资产，而不是增加后的总资产，这是小学四年级的数学题吧，玩数字游戏？6.5/(19-6.5)=52% 而且这个还是保守的数字，其实实际接收的资产远远不止6.5 bil， 怎么看都不像稀释呀？别忘了所有UCBH的现有股东都被wipe out了，才增发500mil, not a big deal! |
