学位
，现在英国帝国理工学院读纳米材料的硕士，方向是biosensor。
想去美国，目前对biochemistry的兴趣逐渐降低，自己对计算机有兴趣，不排斥转行计
算机。但是如果再去美国读计算机的硕士，不想让家里负担这部分钱。
回国的话，纳米专业找工作是没指望了，说不定能找到金融（基金，银行，方面的工作。
这种情况下何去何从？？ |

请问版上有没有老师有兴趣合作paper和proposal。我是EE的assit prof, 有设备作M/
NEMS结构和测电性能，但没有仪器测试机械性能，特别是resonant frequency。我做的不是
Si的M/NEMS，材料本身有很多优于Si的性能，可以用来做biosensors等。

拍啊。因为我是个第三年的PHD student，以后立志毕业当个faculty，所以本版的大神
前辈们多多指教啊。
1，我的研究方向是solar cell,然后有一点创新的nanofabrication方法。博士头三年
还做了很多biosensor and microfluidic的东西。目前有5篇期刊，7篇会议。质量还可
以，但是没nature science。希望在找工作前冲一篇。预期能在第四年找工作前发15到
20篇journal，会议就不care了。大家觉得这么个背景找30到100的学校希望大不？对了
本人学校一般，专业排名还可以貌似前十了。我不打算做Postdoc，如果不行坚决的投
身工业界。貌似实验室的很多师兄们出路还不错。
2，还有就是各位大神有没有压学生的draft不发啊。我导师对我非常非常好，因为我一
进实验室就表明做faculty的态度，他非常支持。有各种机会都会给我介绍业界的人认
识。但是自从去年评上full professor后就太忙了，我去年十月到今年4月，已经给他4

，博士期间表现和文章都还不错，有足够的数据，打算在postdoc期间尝试申请一些
fellowship，甚至是grant。小弟先自我介绍下：我的主要方向是建立biosensor检测病
原微生物，涉及到 engineering，chemistry，biochemistry，polymer materials，但
是都不是特别深入，目前在agriculture领域里，老板的funding大部分是来之USDA
NIFA。
我的问题是，不知道对于我这样的领域，国际学生，能够申请些什么fellowship，或者
是 research grant。在和老板几次交谈后，他都非常支持我能够自己着手准备这些，
他也很愿意帮忙。请版上的老师们多多直接，提点下有准备方向，like USDA，NSF，
NIH都可以考虑，小弟在此感谢了。 |
