I say it's that old professor that's the real loser. US, Europe, Japan
generally has better environment for biological research than China does is
an undeniable truth. Maybe that old professor has access to one of the few
places in China that has good facilities, it doesn't mean all the students
will at any time have the same access. The old professor was either
blatantly lying, or talking out of ignorance. People like him are the real
hinderance to China's scientific research efforts. |
