the traditional rule is having 100 buy-ins for the level you play, although
some pros say 50 is fine, as dusty says in his book.
but the author of blueprint confesses he's way underrolled when he moved up.

刚开始的时候看的几本书是《theory of poker》，《super system》和《small stake
no limit holdem》。看完之后我大概在NL4 break even。 然后觉得扑克不过尔尔，
就开始打NL20和NL50，一直打到cake退出美国。当时的帐号是popokaka，输了小1k。这
几本书基础的东西cover了一些，但是原理讲的并不清楚。如果新人自己看的话，很容
易出现的情况就是以为自己懂了，但是真打的时候完全不是一回事。当时的profit的曲
线的特点是绿线基本持平，红线一路往下。
去年七八月的时候cake退出美国，我转战lock。这个时候实验室的工作差不多做完了，
准备写thesis答辩什么的，于是比较有时间……因为始终打不赢NL20实在郁闷，就在网

1,有人说step 2 FA没什么用，根本不用看了，是这样吗？假如是的话，是否不用象
step1 那样，大家一起过FA，或者是应该一起过step 2 secrets?
2,有人说Kaplan notes- Pediatrics不好， 应该用Blueprints Pediatrics.如果其他
科目用K－notes， 儿科用blueprints， 会不会影响复习的完整性?
3,有人提议用复习Step 3 的Kaplan Medical USMLE Master the Boards 作为提纲来复
习step 2， 这样可行吗？
4,什么时候开始做UW会提高效率?复习notes的时候是否就可以开始做题了？

益很多，step1 考完就想写点东西，自己太懒，加上看到几位大牛的帖子，实在没有补
充，就放弃了。这次CK一定要写点了，也是给麦地一点点回报吧。
考试时间： 2011/5
分数：259， 内科各个几乎全部high performance + star, 儿科妇科较差。
Background: Step 1 250（2010/9）, 国内内科6年临床， 上学兼职复习，时间8个月
（有效6个月，其中庆祝新年花了一个月，等step1成绩花了快一个月）
模考成绩：
NBME 3 在线 2个半月前 520
NBME 4 在线 1个半月前 620
NBME1 和2 offline ，考前1-2个月 90%
CD 考前2周 82%
总结：
1. CK不简单，内容很杂很多，UW很好，但不如传说中的神（A. 题型和真实考试差
的很远，B长度短，C出题思路也不一样.）。
2 CD最像真题。
3 NBME没有像step1 一样，有真题出现。但NBME预测还是不错的。

处的上述告示，火警初期产生的烟并未引起楼上租户注意。火势沿着竹棚向1楼及3楼蔓
延，波及另一电梯槽、电梯大堂及中艺国货的货仓。火势产生的浓烟和高热气体在电梯
槽内持续向上升，在电梯槽的顶部积聚，形成烟囱效应(Stack Effect)。由于当时大厦
的电梯门只以木板遮蔽，电梯槽内的高热气体迅速烧穿围板，进入11至15字楼电梯大堂

The federal government has given national security clearance to the
controversial purchase of an American DNA sequencing company by a Chinese
firm.
The Chinese firm, BGI-Shenzhen, said in a statement this weekend that its
acquisition of Complete Genomics, based in Mountain View, Calif., had been
cleared by the federal Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States,

A week after the publication of blurry photographs depicting what appears to
be China’s first long-range jet transport, Danger Room has obtained
satellite imagery of the new plane at an airfield in central China.
The images, acquired by the GeoEye 1 and IKONOS spacecraft — both belonging

Mandiant said Unit 61398 was believed to have "systematically stolen hundred
