出来之前的英语等于是零，不但不怎么会，听老外讲话更是凤毛麟角，所以一直不知道
什么叫口音问题？ 大概印象中知道过英式和美式。还有就是感觉上欧洲人的英语都很好
可能和英国人一样。
那些都是最初的认知。事实上有不少差异
读语言的时候碰到一个瑞士的小mm在最基础的1班（据老师说从26个字母教起）
听别人说她会5种语言，但是就是不会英语。欧觉得奇怪： 为何
最广泛使用的语言居然不会？
那时候起 对先前的想法有些怀疑了
欧对口音不大敏感，可能是以前没听过什么正宗的英语，感觉好像都差不多：）
只是有一次在曼城的时候，有人问我bus stop在那里，欧听成了bookstore，
于是随手一指对面的书店，那人一脸迷糊，后来再仔细听才知道他要找什么
相对南部来说，北部的口音多半有些奇怪，记得以前打电话
去vodafone的时候，碰到过好些奇怪的发音，于是猜想可能是北部的。
进大学了，碰到欧洲人的机会忽然间多了起来。听了好多奇奇怪怪的英语
对于以前的想法慢慢地改变了
欧洲人，特别是受过高等教育的人群，英语通常都很不错。毕竟地域，和文化
都有类似的地方，和英语的差距肯定要比欧们方块字出身 |

好吧，说好的第二弹来了……说实话我的日料吃得还是蛮有限的，个人觉得日料是会吃
上瘾的，因此楼主这次推荐的这几家店里面，有好几间都是百去不厌、每个月甚至每周

对于一个三观正常的日料控而言，生活在纽约，几乎仅次于日本和LA。前年去洛杉矶玩
，偶然发现火车站便利店里居然有卖寿司便当，当时差点给跪了，后来搬来纽约以后发
现几乎每个曼哈顿“沙县小吃”里都有，便收起了嫉妒的心……纽约在寿司刺身方面恐
怕仍要惜败洛杉矶小东京，但纽约集各家大成于一体的综合性却是美帝少有的。
纽约的日本料理多如牛毛，可观的密集程度通常也会带来良莠不齐的问题，毕竟大部分
美国人民（或者其他国家公民）是芝士通心粉 、沙拉菜和各种滋味不佳的炖肉喂大的
，对亚洲美食的概念还停留在左宗棠鸡、酱油捞面的水准上，鉴赏能力有限。举个栗子

斥责一白女想抢她的插座。

我就是当事家长，本来很少上这个版，昨晚睡觉前LD说看到该帖然后才问是不是我们。
先说事情的经过：大约半个月前我带孩子以及岳父母先去了Burlington Mall买东西，
下午5点多回家的路上去了旁边的Barnes and Noble Bookstore。后来就在二楼上玩了
会书店里摆出的供小孩玩的Thomas轨道和火车。那位楼主带着他的小女儿是后来才到的
。当时看都是中国人大家还一起聊了几句，说起来大家住的也非常近。两个小孩还一起
玩了一会儿，之后楼主带着孩子先走了。我们后来也带了小孩回家。这里需要澄清的事
实是：当时我们家小孩手上拿的蓝色的1号托马斯本来就是我们自己带的，而不是书店
的。这个小托马斯是他的最爱，天天不离手（虽然家里还有很多个托马斯小火车），出
门为了哄孩子，一般我们也都带着。这点平时我们经常去的Arlington图书馆工作人员
包括小孩的玩伴都可以证明，因为在图书馆也经常借托马斯玩具玩，小孩到最后不肯归
还玩具的时候就拿我们自己带的给他他才肯走而不是大哭。

There are no "red" books or "black" books about how to prepare for
addmission test.
There are many reading/math books: http://www.teachercreated.com/retailers/
which you cannot find in other bookstores.
If your kid goes to kindergarten, I believe, he/she needs to finish first-
grader reading/math books. If go to first grade, finish second grade books.
You have to spend some $$$ on those books. Ex. math books have many coin
problems, word problems, which will appear on test. Reading b |

math books for K and 1st graders; if he/she will go to nTH grade, buy him/

for K. There are more chance for K kids.
