Winter in Taiwan can be cold, by TAIWANESE' standard. The same temperatures
are balmy for a Bostonian like me.
Here is the web site for Central Weaher Bureau, a government agency in
Taiwan. Temperatures these days, on the plain, are about 20 degrees
CENTIGRADE, which is in upper 60s in Fahrenheit.

(a) Naturally I had not heard of this name until four nights ago, when out
of boredom I browsed through an alternative buweekly Improper Bostonian,
which is free in Boston but needs subscription outside, presumably to cover
the mail and handling costs. Despite face which could come from anywhere
like Asia, middle East or America, the story was funny. The more paragraphs
I read--I usually read only one or two paragraphs to decide if a book is
worth my attention--the more hooked I was. |

Check copley sq. (public library, trinity church)
take a walk in newbury st. If you like to get to the
top of boston, try Prudential center or John Hancock
center. Visit Quincy market/fanieul hall and feel some
bostonian's life. Take the duck tour outside prudential
if the water is not so cold (probably still cold:).
For cambridge, take red line to Harvard sq., walk
around Harvard's dorms, drop by the statue of 3 lies,
and check out MIT if you are interested.

Bostonians were famous for being rude. The immigration official asked me to
show my Green card even that I am going into China and had Chinese passport.
There were a lot of Koreans and Japanese there too. All the Koreans had dyed
hair and looked the same. :) I actually the Japanese were more beautiful.
But seeing so many Chinese girls is nice. :) |

美国人？不知道，我认识的没几个土著Bostonian。
中国人？美国的历史和我有鸟关系。
不过简单的从几个方面尤其是户外相关的方面来说说Boston，还可以说两句。
总的来说Boston的季节算是三季。一般thanksgiving前后下第一场雪，最后一场雪是二
月底到三月初。但是一般每年红叶的季节过后Boston乃至整个NewEngland地区的自然风
景就非常boring了，到处都是落光了叶子的枯树枝，一片凋敝的景象。而树叶重新长出
来要到四月初。所以从视觉效果来说，冬天长达5个月。
冬天主要的outdoor活动就是滑雪了。MA并没有什么山（不要以西部的标准看，东部的
标准都不行)。不过Boston附近滑雪场还是不少，初学肯定是够了。另外West MA很多XC
Ski不错的location。因为东北部各州很小，所以把NewEngl |

For those of you who have never been to "Bawstin", ( Boston )this is a
good guideline. I hope you will consider coming to "Beantown" in the near
future.
There's no school on School Street , no court on Court Street, no dock
on Dock Square , no water on Water Street . Back Bay streets are in
alphabetical "oddah" (order): Arlington , Berkeley , Clarendon, Dartmouth ,
etc. So are South Boston streets:

series, in my mind.
As much as i despise the LA Fakers, They are really a good team and they
deserve to win. (of course had C's center Perkins not injured and missing
game 7, it could be totally different result).
Many Thanks to the Celtics for playing hard and great against all odds for
the last two months!

人不方便。要想在城里吃西北口味的菜，除了老西安，还有一家在back bay的mass ave
上叫食香阁chef Chang's on back bay. 就在1路公交线上。
这家被improper Bostonian报道过。我几周前去吃过。环境挺好，挺干净。老板挺热情
友好。我点了肉夹馍和锅仔红焖羊肉。羊肉很好吃。肉夹馍量少了点，但可以接受。他
家也有大盘鸡。下回我可以试试。
我那次去是周日中午。店里只有我们和另外一桌。看来他家生意不太旺。这样的话，不
知道他家能撑多久。我觉得他家宣传不够。很多人都不知道有这家店。

One of the most beautiful city/metro areas I've seen. Ample cultural and
sports options for almost everybody. Some of the most varied and rich food
experiences around. I doubt many places in the country offer a more broad,
diverse and competitive higher education system. Excellent place for

I lived in Boston and the greater Boston area for about 10 years; I went to
university in the city and I also spent a long time working there after I
graduated. There are plenty of things to do in the city: Historical tours,
museums, live music, great breweries, great food, dance clubs, and plenty of
