I live in Boston. I do not know what you meant by 麻面. I have not seen it
in Massachusetts--or New York City.
I do not know what 方砖 is. But some sidewalks in Boston were/are paved with
red bricks. Underneath it is a layer of cement, to avoid the problems you

remember once I picked up "the European" in boston common while waiting for
two friends, and the first page started with a view over the area where I was
standing upon. Few could bear Henry James' wordiness and I liked to protest

him becoz of his novel set in New England, esp. that "Bostonian" offered a

TAMPA：
有一个SAVIADOR DALI博物馆，是印象派吧。感觉个性的宣泄，用玫瑰隐喻女阴，我现在
都不敢送MM玫瑰了。比中国画多了张狂，少了宁静。各有各的好处。

另外，人家是有钱人装悲愤。人家住的是市中心，读的是复旦，混的是美利坚。回上海
逛的都是梅隆镇啊，恒隆啊，中兴泰富，9光百货啊。我们这种都是回去逛7铺路的。我
说实话哈，我连巴黎春天都没勇气进去。里面那么精美的柜台，那么高雅漂亮的sales
，那么昂贵的标签，跟我这种最多掏500块买个outlet的coach包送人的档次差太远了。
另外2，最近好像什么都涨价了。bostonian的皮鞋都上100多美金了。国内哈bostonia

Miss, no offense but can you please THINK before you re-post anything? They

Boston does not have many EE companies except for a few such as Analog Device. And the most important thing is I feel that most companies around Boston are quite conservative and they are not willing to sponsor H-1B and Bostonian are notorious in their personality. |

"Arkansas" is from an Algonquin word "Akansa." It's the name that the
Illinois tribes called the Quapaw. One early spelling was "Arkansea."
The spelling with the final "s" IS French. The "r" in Arkansas is intrusive,
like the "r's" that British speakers and Bostonians stick into their speech

An early Arkansas governor wanted to pass legislation to fix the

Henry James小说改编。这作家作品改编的电影我还真看过不止一个，什么the golden
bowl,wings of the of dove.
(The Portrait of a Lady叫jane campion给拍砸了。她作为导演，排不了这么细碎的
电影，因为她有股狠劲，非得最后剁手指那种才可以。)
插一句，这个the wings of the dove很厉害，其中最后绝症女那一句"we are beyond
that."真是荡气回肠。什么叫修养，人那就是修养。那妞儿跟我们根本不是一层次上想
事情，不一样。建议大家没看过的都看看。
上面这种感受我还有过一次，就是电影somewhere in time里jane seymour舞台上那段
独白，说得让我心驰神摇。这个片子大家也可以看看，蛮不错的浪漫爱情片。男主演就
是这个波士顿人里的断背超人Christopher Reeve。
该片导演James Ivory。这老家伙很有些英国李安的劲头。对话乍一听就没大意思，要
是看不进去会觉得片子很boring。

总是很容易对一个城市产生感情，好比武汉，不管人家骂它有多落后，
有多小市民，有多脏乱，有多坏的热天气，有多么脾气暴躁的人，我喜欢了，
就是喜欢了。待了四年，就念念不忘了。
好比香港，都觉得她浅薄，都觉得她贫瘠，都觉得她浮躁，都觉得她不过是外表上的
花天酒地，都觉得她骨子里面的不自信，我喜欢了，就会一直喜欢下去。短短两年，
就够我一直魂牵梦绕了。
说到波士顿，这么的古老，即使是他有太长太长的冬天，闷得我都想用大雪淹死
自己，可是，到了春天，有鲜花，到了夏天，有海滩，到了秋天，有红叶，
到了冬天，还有大雪。我就舍不得了，这么喜欢上他了。还能怎么办呢？
