作用就是trap空气中的油，避免引擎中可燃气体比例太高（指的是活塞以下的部分）。
这个filter吸有能力很强，时间一久breather过滤能力饱和油多了就从你看到的那个口
那里跑出来一些。
你实在不爽就把air box打开，换这个breather filter。然后擦干净那个口那里就好了。 |

cold总会咳嗽不止，有哨音，气喘‘呼吸急促，急诊室去过两次了。靠治疗哮喘那样的
breather给药 (albuterol)，但是去急诊室两次都是因为连breather也都控制不住。稍
微吃点凉的，马上就咳嗽。看着孩子真是挺受罪的。
大家有没有这方面治疗经验？有没有什么偏方？ |

现在事情是肯定的：breather hose to air intake side有油渗出。
在我的知识里，这条管子应该是空气进入引擎，而不应该有油反方向冲出。
知识所限，没法解释。 其实车子运行起来很正常，没什么问题。 |

更新一下，问题终于找到了，同时也谢谢给建议的朋友。
原来是前轮刹车片的问题，我今天检查了刹车片，发现有一边的刹车片才抹掉了不到一半，另一边的刹车片已经快磨平了，两边刹车片摩擦力不均衡，所以抖动了。联想到我的车子是一年半以前在一个韩国修车店做年检的时候给换的刹车片，有可能是他只给我换了一边的刹车片（可恶
樱。。。液罄绰蛄诵碌腞OTORS和PADS，换上之后车子就不抖了。
看来以后老车修车还是要尽量自己DIY才好啊。

看起来倒还挺新的。我查了一下VIN，报告里说有这几样东西换过，分别是：
Brake fluid flushed/changed
Door lock switch replaced
Console repaired
Washer nozzle/jet replaced
Front brake pads replaced
Breather filter replaced
Oil and filter changed chassis lubricated
Glove box door replaced
也不知道这些有没有什么关系，能显示出这车有什么问题么？车主马上要搬去日本，没
时间陪我们做mechanic check。大家帮我看看这车能买么？多谢多谢！ |

Air Breather，有点意思。Final production版本配上M Performance那个21寸的轮毂
估计应该会挺好看。

There is a small vapor (breather) tube that connects to the tank and goes to
the top of the filler pipe. This lets the air out of the tank as the gas
goes in. Sounds like that small tube is plugged. As to how to clear it is
anybody's guess. It would be very difficult to get to unless you did it from
the underside of the car.

原来没当回事，心想这么多厂子开始用，而且积碳也是个known problem，
应该没大问题吧，后来看老美论坛，才知道问题不小，而且至今无解。
一两万迈之后就可能开始suffer horsepower loss, MPG loss,
engine knock, engine misfire, etc. etc.
现在看来几个厂子都是打官腔搪塞过去，心里打的算盘都是最好用户没感觉，
感觉了MPG loss也容易deny (blame it on driving habits,
gas quality, regular gas on premium vehicle, etc.)，
直到warranty runs out就可以不管了。。。
VW, Audi下一代DI貌似有dual injection，对当前卖的和最近卖掉的

engine cap off and oil vapor was everywhere. I replaced breather valve and
it got better but I was still afraid of engine blowing up on highway. |

breather bag，透气不透水，热带鱼还有heating pack保温，2－3天路程都没问题。不
过名贵的鱼都是FEDEX overnight或者airport to airport。
像minnow这种皮实的鱼，邮寄肯定就更没问题了。不过就是minnow大，一次买很多的话
，得要大盒子，那寄费也不少，算下来和我这里买估计也差不多了。嘿嘿。
