教会在组织形式上不应该“联合”,

宗派的问题,主恢复是如何,好坚固我们的脚步,不至摇摆,一直走到底,迎见主的回

我们是什么
读经:约翰福音一章二十二节:“于是他们说,你到底是谁,叫我们好回覆差我们
来的人;你自己说,你是谁。”
彼得后书一章十二节:“你们虽然晓得这些事,并且在你们已有的真道上坚固,我
却要将这些事常常题醒你们。”
今天我们来看一个问题,就是我们是什么。我们在这里究竟是什么?这件事我们在

第六课 宗教改革之后
从“宗教改革”到十七十八世纪的发展
重洗派
在十六世纪宗教改革运动中,在“抗议宗”之外另有一派人士,认为“宗教改革”
改得不够彻底,必须彻底废除所有传统,按照新约教训重建教会。他们主张彻底的“政
教分离”,严格执行会员纪律。由于他们反对儿童洗礼,认为童年时代所受的洗礼无效
,信徒必须重新受洗,因此被称为“重洗派 Anabaptists”。由于此派认为唯有他们是
真教会,其中的狂热份子从事武力革命,所以天主教与抗议宗都视为异端而不容其存在
。自1535年重洗派的暴力革命被消灭后,崇尚和平的门诺 Menno Simons (约1469-156
1)在荷兰等地成为此派的主要领袖,在其领导下,奠定了“门诺会 Mennonites”日后
的发展。1693年艾门 Jakob Ammann 创立了门诺会一极端保守的支派,流传至今,即“
艾门派 Amish”。另外,在十六世纪由胡特 Jacob Hutter 在莫拉维亚所领导的重洗派
团体,也辗转流传至今,被称为“胡特派 Hutterites”,与艾门派人一样,与现世隔绝

第七课 十八与十九世纪
美洲的大复兴
由于美洲的开发,使得许多在宗教信仰上遭到逼迫的人,选择离开欧洲移民至新大
陆,按照自己的理念来过生活。北美十三州的殖民地在十八世纪,发生了“大觉醒运动
the Great Awakening”。这是指从1725年起至1760年间所发生的一连串的属灵大复兴
。此运动在1735-1743年达至高峰:先由爱德华滋在麻州的讲道点燃了复兴之火;接着,
来自英国的布道家怀特菲旅行各地野外布道,听众数以万计,所到之处带来教会空前的
复兴。“大觉醒”影响深远,唤醒了牧师,奋兴了会众,复兴了教会,带起宣教热诚,
各宗派团结合作,促进高等教育培育人才,也间接影响后来美国独立建国的发展。“第
二次大觉醒 the Second Great Awakening”发生于1787-1830年间,回应美国独立战争
之后的属灵低潮与社会需要。芬尼 Charles Finney (1792-1875) 是其中著名的领袖,
使用新方法,来举行奋兴布道会。南北战争之后,慕迪 D. L. Moody (1837-1899) 崛起

第十一章 教会史略
序言
旧约中历史的记载,始于亚当夏娃之被造,终于犹太人被掳归回,尼希米、以斯拉
率领犹太人重建圣城、圣殿为止。此记载之终止,时在主前430年左右。
从此时直到耶稣降生前一切事,圣经无记载。历史称此一时期为两约之间的时代。
其间,犹太人先后受波斯及希腊统治,然后享受了一百年的独立时代,最后于主前63年
被罗马征服。
新约圣经的历史部份,记载主耶稣在世的一生事迹,主升天后初期教会的开始,及
第一代使徒四出传道情形。(注:新约的预言部份记载远达末世、大灾难、千禧年、新天
新地等,不在此讨论范围内。)
教会历史的目的是接续新约圣经初期教会的记录,将历代教会之沿革、发展及重要
事迹,按着年代,有系统的记载下来,使信徒从其中得到教训及警惕,并明白神在信祂
的人身上(或说在教会中)一贯的心愿与目的。
新约教会历史约可分为下列七时代:
(一)使徒时代(或称初期教会时代):主后30-100年
(二)迫害时代:主后100-313年
(三)国教时代:主后313-590年
(四)天主教时代:(或称黑暗时代)主后590-1517年
(五)宗教改革时代:主后1517-1648年
