Buddha Bar的原址，在法国协和广场附近。法国人总是很有趣，比如一个kenzo，一个
三宅一生，一个吕燕，浓墨重彩的东方神韵，到了法国变身为神秘迷幻而又可望可及的
艺术，再换过来成为时尚，赚尽五湖四海的钱。一个去法国旅行的朋友，去了Buddha
Bar，回来告诉我，那里面的食物，超级难吃；那里面的侍者，傲慢无礼；那里面的男
女，俊美无比；那里面的音乐，宛如天籁。我问他那里面是不是有个很大的佛像？朋友

有机会去看了一下感觉不错大家要是信佛的话不妨去看看，一路的风景也很漂亮。万佛
城坐落于Ukiah离旧金山大概114miles。好像也是一个佛学院。我们大约1120左右到的
先去他的admin office register，给了我们一份校区的map接着就是self guided tour
。他的佛堂很大，里面真的有上万尊佛像。每天中午1230会有和尚还有尼姑一起唱大悲
咒。接待处的人告诉我们应该先去他们的斋菜馆吃顿斋菜，完了以后去佛堂念念大悲咒
。我们把车停在佛堂旁边，刚走没有几步就看见一位尼姑，她先用英文问我们会不会说
中文，我用中文回答之后她便很热情的带我们进入佛堂，先教了我们正确的拜佛方式然
后告诉我们先去吃斋饭然后1230回来做礼拜。
斋菜馆就在离佛堂不远，有很多选择我们两个人点了一个炒饭，四季豆炒素墨鱼还有一
个凉菜加起来一共16刀。餐馆还有外卖的包子饺子什么的。来吃的人很多而且外卖的也
不少。吃完以后我们回到佛堂，在大门口上香拜了佛祖接着就开始和僧人们念大悲咒，

我现在理解性这个事情，关键在对于禅定的影响。
而禅定又是解脱的必要条件。
人不解脱，就是因为某些东西（心理的各种色彩）分辨不清，
不知道“自我”是如何产生的，这就是无明，无明的困惑带来轮回和苦。
而要认识这个自我的实相，就必须通过禅定-修观才行。
性活动通常是把人的注意力从禅定中拖出来的。
这就是为什么各个宗教实修都会对此有所指导。
但另一方面，听说某些根器的人，通过双修，也能到达某种境界，
在这个特殊的心理状态下，如果有明眼人指导，也可以让认识有个突破。
（怎样突破我不是很清楚，是心理的各个组成部分能够分开么？
突破到什么程度，这个次第，我也不是很清楚，）
但也有危险，就是如果这时心有旁骛，据说堕得很厉害。算是华山的陡坡。

空等一众徒弟死心塌地跟随他的原因。文学最动人之处不在于政治，在于这样的个人性
及其唤起的人性的共鸣。
从而又想起我读本科时写过一篇关于敦煌创建者的小小说。当时看到史书的短短一段记
载，说乐尊和尚在长安修行多年，突然出走西北，徒步数日，干渴不支。于落日之时突
见三危山上佛光万丈，千佛现身，三危山下现出月牙一泉。乐尊感恩，就此长住，开凿
出第一座敦煌石窟。读毕心有戚戚：长安浮华，庙堂虽安，经书万卷却也语言有限。出

4. 站在魔王的角度想一想
魔王波旬一直给佛法捣蛋，想毁灭佛法，这是南北传经典里都有的。
知己知彼，才能够对抗魔王，坚持正确的道路。
让我们来替魔王波旬设想一下，破坏佛法有什么好办法呢？
第一个办法：在佛刚刚觉悟圣道之时，诱惑佛陀立刻涅磐，这样佛法只是佛陀
一个人的，佛法之火就无法燃起照亮世间。事实上，魔王波旬就是这么做的。
《南传大般涅槃经》就提到佛告诉阿难
“阿难!往昔我成就无上正觉，住于郁裨罗尼连禅河边之阿输波罗尼拘律树
下。阿难!其时，恶魔诣我处，至已，立于一面。阿难!立于一面之恶魔如是言我
曰：世尊!世尊今应般涅槃，善逝现在宜般涅槃。世尊!现在是世尊应般涅槃之时。”
第二个办法：在佛传播圣道之时，催促佛陀尽快涅磐，因为只要佛陀驻世，
佛法就有最后的裁决者，魔王波旬就没法上下其手。魔王波旬也是这么做的。

引 言
由于苏州西园寺经常举行“皈依共修”法会，所以有很多人对“南摩布达耶，南磨
达摩耶，南磨僧伽耶”产生了兴趣。大部分人都知道它们是指“归依佛，归依法，归依
僧”，但大都不理解为何有个“耶”音在每个皈依的结尾，甚至有人说“耶”字本不应
该有。因此，我想对这个字的作用做一个简单的说明，也想以此为契机，谈谈对三皈依
的原义和其在整体佛教中所扮演的角色的理解．
一．“耶”在梵文语法里是“与格”
“南摩布达耶，南磨达摩耶，南磨僧伽耶”是音译自梵文，是梵文“Namo
Buddhaaya, Namo Dharmaaya, Nama.h Sa^nghaaya”的音译，而“(a)ya” 音译就是“
耶”。在梵文（或巴利文）的文法中，一个名词（或形容词）有八个格，即主格、呼格
、对格、具格、与格、从格、属格和处格。每个格的表现形式在于单词的后缀变化。现
在以“Buddha”（佛）这个单词为例子，把这八个格的语法变化表列如下：
