这里毕业的,回去做device,一多半一开始肯定是做不过国内的.
毕竟听过的见过的太少了.
但例如,美国也有1个著名的做手机的变态公司,
工程能力和态度国内公认是比不上的.
另外我倒不认为这里的老中工程师普遍配不上美国工资.
现在我看到的趋势是,不给global pay,没人愿意回去了.
这和07年前完全不同.我想,这是因为大家对国内有了更多的了解.
不只是电源网的那些吊丝们啊。这里PHD的水平比起国内稍微好点实验室的博士们的平
均水平我觉得也不如啊，更别提土共往里面猛砸钱的实验室了。诸位也不看看这两年出
来念PHD的在国内都是什么样的货色。
电力电子是个起点很低，严重依赖于经验的学科，特别是 broad level design。这里
学生少，相互之间的交流少, hands on 经验也少，整天就想着灌水发文。去ECCE，
APEC什么会议看看，那帮人年年讲的东西都是一样的。当然这里学生发文确实不少，主
要是因为西方掌握了话语权，老板们在那个圈子里面。要是过两年国内理性看待ieee

candidacy，一边还要考虑他在现在职位上的前途问题？你要是负责招人，收到求职信
，你先想到的是我要为这个人考虑，不要让他老板知道？
求职者本来就是弱势，你是有求于人，尽可能提供你的材料让别人去考虑你的申请，不
是别人求你去工作，如果对方通过insider的消息了解你的情况，那是别人主动，说明
比较重视你，难道反过来，你找工作跟对方说我有一些问题要隐瞒，你不能通过某些途
径去了解我？
我觉得你是一些关键点没搞明白，这也是很多人求职时候的问题，就是不professional
，自己的定位不够。对于大多数人来说，你是供方，你在给对方发求职信自己的简历之
前，要明确的就是自己要有去工作的意向，要别人seriously的考虑你。对于少数情况
，这个人是对方非常想要想挖的，希望用高薪等吸引过来，那么这时候你可以去说我不
确定要不要去你那，你要先跟我开好条件再说。
对于lz的情况，我并不想太mean，但是我猜想他可能是希望自己的材料或简历能够让对

2. 信是9月4号发给我的，我现在才看到，听说必须在多少天之内离境？如果我再多待

话说趁着绿潮，版面上大伙儿都高兴，我也来说说我吧。
我跟大伙都不一样，我也不算迷糊，相反，在某种程度上我是特别清醒的一个人。
我现在学的专业是我考大学时候的第一志愿，那个时候也是真喜欢，觉得每天对着瓶瓶
罐罐老鼠细胞挺好，不用跟人打交道，也没有那么多人情世故的东西。那时候真是年轻
，完全没想过24／7的工作状态能工作多久，也不知道一个月要赚多少钱才能养活一家
老小。我大学在家里附近的大学上的，所以我连每个月自己生活费是多少都不知道。
因为学的是基础科学，加上身边一直有人陆陆续续出国，所以算是大学一开始就决定要
出国。也就是辛辛苦苦考gt申请。
申请那一年大四的时候做毕业论文，在实验室满打满算待了半年。隐隐约约觉得自己不
讨厌实验，但是非常不喜欢实验室的那个氛围。跟小时候想的那种很平和，很慷慨的环
境不一样。实验室那时的prof每天都是到处慌者去弄钱，而且从来不在我们面前遮掩，
什么仪器代理啊各种关系啊，都不避讳着我们这些本科生。研究生之间也是各种明争暗
斗，遍地奇葩。

期最多只能修3门3学分的专业课,外加seminar之类的没用学分.这样cand就只能等第二
年考,然后第二年第二学期靠comprehensive,考完直接答辩?两年完成phD?
果然还是有牛人的!专业top15的这些考试肯定不会很简单啊. |

走人,这么多年算是白费了，遇到极品老板没办法（我已经考过candidacy，已经获得
master学位），他如果不给我签master的opt我就找系里面想办法。但是还有个担心的
就是我看之前毕业的师兄申请绿卡需要他出具一个证明，表示某段时间在他手下读书，
这个证明是不是必须老板，系里面别的人可以么？

时候拿都行. 你的opt 其实跟着你的phd时的i20. 你要是转master 会有新的i20. 那样
opt自然而然就无消了。而且有了opt也就三年。都不容易 别轻易放弃
不知道你是什么专业 转了master 以后不一定好找工作、找了工作 绿卡不一定得耗到
猴年马月

。如果通不过，那么就再补考。就是怎么说哪，一般在美国读的本科，经常挂掉的，大
