blenheim)。明天就要和Breeder签合同了，请同学们帮我把把关，谢谢！！！帖子比较
长，附有breeder对几个关键问题的答复，contract，小狗照片附在最后。
Breeder是一个中学的特殊教育老师，40岁的白人大妈，自己有4只King Charles， 自
称hobby breeder。Breeder很有耐心，解释很多知识、接受照顾训练小狗的方法。我选
择的狗是她的second litter，有7只puppy（很高产）。
去Breeder家看过小狗，家里整个地下室都装修成了工作间，有专门的小狗的nursury、
有摆放大狗crate的专门区域、有专门的工作区域，家里非常整齐、干净！
Breeder坚持要求照看小狗到第10周，会有各2次的dewore和vaccine，第8周会开始
crate training。有一年的健康保证。

要高许多，是Beagle X King charles cavalier 的杂交，当初想着 Beagle聪明，Cavalier
温和，且不是太小的狗，毛发易护理，不易脏，所以才买的。六个月时已经 de-sex 啦。
这种狗需要大运动量，我们也带他每个星期去狗的训练学校了，在那里，他高兴时就表现得
很好，喜欢玩跳的游戏，不太听话，在家里，把他所有的他的垫子床都咬了，还在上面尿，
我知道这是他在抢占领土，但是都七个月了，还是咬床垫子，我们在外面的狗屋里放的垫子，
他白天一个人在家也全咬坏，时常把小孩的毛毛玩具咬个全空心。
买了网上推荐的 Tuffy dog toys， 二十几块，没有五分钟就咬掉一部分，再 tough 的也要
给你咬坏，家里的 french door 也总让他跳起来推门，给弄坏了，最糟糕的是他找任何机会
进厨房，然后站起来叼走任何他想吃的，常常是我们一不注意，我们的晚餐都让他叼走了，
在院子外面 ＢＢＱ，他公然在十来个人的面前就叼走了肉，还虎视单单地看着你来不来追。

发帖数: 12365 | 15 其实光翻车，没有后面车子追着撞，翘辫子的几率小一点。
我翻过两次车，都是75MPH的时候。
第一次是ford focus，在后排睡觉，没有绑安全带。
醒来已经在医院了，检查完了也就出院了，什么治疗都没给。
据说气囊弹出，但是车里的人都没有大碍。
第二次是自己翻车。刚拿到驾照不久。
清楚地记得自己抱着方向盘把自己的cavalier一头扎进路边的坑里来了个前空翻。
命大什么事情没有。不过气囊没弹出？!(这里大牛能否替我解惑一下为何没弹出)
后来去garage看车子，hood里面除了雨刷液的盖子没了，其他基本完好。(但是车前脸
和前轮轴都不行了)。
两次翻车，车子的硬顶都没有塌，不然小命就报销了。
cavalier的硬顶就两个瘪塘。
虽然没有开过civic烤肉啦的车子，但是我知道往同学烤肉啦的hood上面一坐就一个坑。
吸能不吸能这个事情还是算了...
我想起来一件事。我这边一个朋友，一白男。也不知道他怎么开车的，他过弯时候把
civic给开翻掉了，flip了两圈，但是人一点事情没有。然后立刻又买了一辆civic，有
一天拐弯时候又开翻了人还是没事。。。现在他在开第三辆civic。听起来好 |

一辆车都有各种缺点和优点，大家多做研究， 少吵架
大家买车的时候， 都是一个不小地决定，还是全面客观好些， 不要情绪化
至于安全性， 不要拿taurus跟civic比，也不要拿explorer 跟cavalier 比
日本车，尤其是两田神车， 质量上确是有傲人之处，但是也有97-01年丰田发动机的
sludge ，02新车变速箱乱窜， 本田得变速箱毛病，
美国车的技术积累也不是吹得，但是也有explorer tranny problem, buick window
regulator problem, impala gasket problem
大家买东西， 要针对各型车具体作研究， 一概而论没用
现在的车， 保养好的， 日本大车开到150-200k miles， 美车开到150 k miles没问题

Come on TOI, We messed it up ourselves by not reading the fine print about
the quarantine tests we needed to conduct. Further more with the exception
of three horses, the rest tested positive for Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis
. It was only in the 2nd test it was found to be negative. This is just like

Teresa Sullivan）不应继续在她的邮件或演讲中引用托马斯·杰弗逊的话。原因是杰
弗逊曾经是个奴隶主。不少学生也在信上签名。
据美国弗吉尼亚大学学生自办的《骑士日报（Cavalier Daily）》11月13日报道，大学
校长苏利文在美国大选结束后的11月9日向全校学生发了一封邮件，在邮件里苏利文鼓
励学生们团结一致，乐观面对大选结果，并在将来的生活中为建设立项的社会负起责任。
苏利文在邮件中引用了托马斯·杰弗逊的名句：“杰弗逊曾在给朋友的信中评价弗吉尼
亚大学的学生都不是等闲之辈，他们就是给我们的政治带来成功的人，他们可以掌握自
己的未来，自己的友谊和自己的财富。”苏利文鼓励学生们以此为鉴。
但是这一举动引起了大学一些教授的不满。他们不喜欢这个引用。他们给校长写了一封
