依愚见，没有严格韵律、内涵、意境的七言诗，表达能力非常有限，甚至像不痛不痒的
打油诗。用在此处似乎不宜。
英文原文写得很好，轻松、明快，温馨却又不矫揉造作，直译既可。不必过于修饰。抛

Because they know the poor can be counted on to vote themselves more
benefits by electing redistributionist politicians. Welfare recipients are
