怡陶碧谷的百年公园(Centennial Park)内，两名小孩坐平底雪橇一冲而下，在一阵尖叫、嬉笑及翻滚中停下，当他们拍掉脸上的雪，拿起雪橇，准备走上斜坡再来一次时，却被巡逻的警员制止。

爬这几个山头是年初就和山友T计划好的，因为T的工作性质，请假必须提前好几个月通
知，我们就把日子定在奥运开幕前的那个周末。至于到时候天气如何，只能撞大运了，
反正爬山本来就是靠天吃饭，三天之后的气象预报就不怎么靠谱，索性来个拣日不如撞
日。行程如下：
周四早退数小时，和T汇合后开车至South Colony Lake Upper TH，步行约三迈半到
South Colony Lake，在11,500’左右扎营。
周五从Red Gully上Crestone Peak，然后 traverse到Crestone Needle；
周六上Humboldt，顺便拿下边上一个centennial 13er Columbia Point，下山回家。
先说一下approach，以前如果你有4WD的话可以一直开到离湖边一迈的地方，一到周末
就热闹无比，除了爬山的，还有钓鱼、露营、狂欢的各色人等。近年来ZF寅吃卯粮，入

着人口增长，城市外扩，大量的亚裔高科技人才涌入，2002年秋季Northview High随需
而生，不到10年，一举拿下全州高中第一名，包括后来的Alpharetta High, Johns
Creek High, Chattahoochee High, Milton High, 甚至Forsyth County 的 South
Forsyth High, Lambert High都超过了Centennial High。
注意！高中好，它周围的小学也不会次到那儿去，我们房地产经纪人多是按好高中来找
学区的。
你如果找好学区，至少应该考虑400 Exit 10出口附近或更往北东一点。Northview
High在 141# 和120# 公路的交叉处附近，当然房价也贵些。

差距。如果你要找 Howard County 的好学区，make sure high school is Centennial
or River Hill. In both areas, any elementary school is not bad at all. If
you can choose, make sure middle school is Clarksvill Middle or Burleigh
Manor.
There is a small town house/condo community in Clarksville (~10-15 years old
). All the new houses are single families. If your budget is >60W, you can
consider SF.

各个学校考试内容都大致差不多，主要根据专业的不同考试内容才不同，除了
centennial college以外，其它学校考试都要交费的，humber 今年是35加元，seneca
我不清楚，因为没去考，如果你们同时报几所学校，又都想申请的话，那这些钱就都得
交了。考试不是很难，基本上就三种考试，英语，数学和逻辑。数学很简单，中国人没
有不过的，相当于国内初中的知识，英语是给你几个题目，让你从中选一个写一篇作文
，逻辑就象英文游戏，象找出字母的规则拉，排列字母拉（听考过的人说的，我自己没
考过）。
关于入学考试的时间和地点，有的学校会寄信给你，有的学校(例如CENTENNIAL)则要求
你打电话到学校的测试办公室预约。考试的地点一般在学生教室,通常只有一位监考教
师。监考教师准备的有笔和草稿纸。正式考试前教师将介绍一下学校基本情况，大约15
分钟，你可以自由提问所关心的问题。考试时不允许使用电子字典（以前可以使用，现
在不知道为什么不让用了 弄的我很失望），只可以用老师带来的英英辞典 可以举手找
老师要。考试时间一般在3个小时，数学为70分钟，逻辑为50分钟，英语为75分 |

你飞的都是中美国际航班吧？每个城市每天也就一班，根本没有任何大的变数，要取消
也往往改到后一天，并不需要特别多的信息量
国内航班不但飞的城市多，而且同一个城市每天好几班，信息量大许多，变数也多许多
，pek提供的那些可怜的显示屏完全不能满足正常旅客对信息的需要（当然对于那些迷
信登机牌上的信息都是永远正确的旅客来说，他们没有想看显示屏的需要，所以也不会
觉得缺少了些什么了）
你的思维跳跃得倒是够快的。既然提了，那我们不妨看看到底中国和美国的机场谁很少

这次活动的第一个主题是迎接新朋友的到来，想必新来的朋友，初来乍到，生活学习工
作上都有很多疑问需要向老校友们请教，届时我们老校友们会尽量为 您答疑解惑。同
时也希望DC-USTC这个大家庭，能让初来异乡的朋友们感受到温暖。
另外长久以来一个永恒不变的主题是提供所有科大校友朋友，以及其他学校朋友联络，
交流的平台。新学年新风貌，无论你是已经盘踞多时，或者已是社会 成功人士，本次
聚会必定是你们结识新朋友，约会老朋友的好机会。希望到时候大家在和老朋友见面，
聊天的 同时也能够积极的和不认识的校友朋友交流。届时我们也会像往年一样邀请一
些杰出校友，组织一些研讨小组，经验交流小组。如果可能我们还会邀请兄弟 院校和
