You must not familiar with centennial park.
Black swan there are usually in a family unit.
Two big adults bring 3 or four small swan babies.
By the way, rabbits now might have already taken over the whole park.
Be careful next time and you can see heaps of them jumping out from
root part of big trees. |

1） 还有GEICO 赞助的Sky Typer, T-6 组成的6机民间表演队，可能是目前最专业的民
间表演队了。
2） RI AIR national guard 的C-130J 一贯表演很震撼。4发运输机能飞成他们那样就
很不错了， RI Army national Guard 会每营出动一架直升机(UH-60 x2 , UH-1 x1 )
进行协同展示。
3） 还有一架比较少见的 F-8F (Bearcat) 参加Naval heritage flight。 （BTW: 今
年是海军航空兵诞生100周年纪念（Centennial of Naval Aviation）。
F-22 肯定不参加了， B-2 fly-by 应该也没有，这周是巴黎航展。。。

我的lease是明年六月底到期。价格很便宜，才$550/month，不包水电，两个bedroom，
一个bathroom。两个房间的窗户和阳台都朝西南，在二楼，地势很高，光线很足。阳台
前有棵大树，夏天长满叶子正好挡住下午的烈日，冬天就掉光叶子，所有房间阳光都很
充足。客厅空间很大。阳台可以晾晒衣服。很适合有孩子的家庭。如果不是因为要毕业
，我还会住下去。
在Kensington Park Apartments，离NCSU centennial campus（走路10～15分钟）和
wolfline（就在小区旁）都很近。小区里中国学生和家庭很多。

November 21th, 2010. It's located in kings court, one bedroom facse south
and one faces north, very quiet and beautiful place. It's 2 minutes walk to

Magnet Program有不同的Pathway、侧重点，例如：A.B. Combs Elementary、
Centennial Middle 的侧重点是Leadership, 而Ligon Middle、 Enloe High的侧重点
是Gifted and Talented。
在Wake County教育局的网站上有对申请Gifted and Talented Middle School 的说明
，AG identification是进入此类中学的必备条件。当然，此类中学依然有Base学生。
大部分黑人学生都是Base的。
我想，apple51 在上个帖子说“只有95%以上的好学生才能进入Magnet program”所指
的是AG考试成绩在95%以上的好学生才具备进入此类中学的条件。 |

10月某周五下午五点半左右，从NCSU centennial campus湖边那段downhill走的时候，
刚过了一个stop，有点小着急，给了一脚油，等意识到可能会超速（限速25），赶紧一
脚刹车，但晚了，守株待兔的校警立马亮灯拦下开罚单——罚50，count fee 188，总
共两百多刀，疼啊！
17号后天上庭，打算自己去，穷学生请不起律师。
有几个问题请教一下：
1.为啥听说都要很早去？上面不是写了时间么？
2.如果上庭argue，我能想到的借口：
A downhill，正好给了一脚油——嗯，自己都觉得说服力不强，虽然后来我也意识到可
能会超速赶紧踩刹车了，但警察叔叔蹲点，运气不好尾车倒霉了。
B 正因为我是尾车，警察才拦下了我。当时测速39，我前面有至少2辆车，换言之，前
面的车肯定也超速了，不然我就追尾了，警察叔叔能保证测到的是我的速度么？不是前
车？——不过感觉说服力也不强，而且估计法官叔叔会偏向警察叔叔的。
3 如果警察叔叔不去，那是不是就dismiss掉了？那如果他去，我有什么对策？

我暑假出去实习，在gorman st上有一个2b1b的apartment，我和我室友住，包水每月
680，设施齐全。准备从6月到8月10号出租，我房间里面家具床什么的都有，可以直接
拎包入住。
位置在离centennial校区和foodlion 超市很近，步行15分钟，楼下就是wolfline和CAT
车站，都可以到主校区，交通很方便，我和我室友都有车，平时去超市买菜也很方便。
我和我室友都是NCSU的第一年master，性别男，比较爱干净，不吵闹不抽烟不养宠物，
我室友人很好相处。
希望找一个安静不养宠物不带孩子的室友（房间不大），如果需要照片啥的请站内信，

另外可以去NCSU偷……那里有那种结乒乓球大小的小柿子的柿子树，在Centennial
Campus的湖边上。如果会扦插或者压条的就不妨去打那棵树的主意。 |

centennial and central. Among these 4 hschools, university high is the best
in terms of academics; many of the professors' kids go there. And it is on
