史的一瞬而已. 人类的毁灭, 最可能的原因就是自我毁灭. 因为科技越发达, 杠杆越大
, 一个按钮所控制的能量越大, 危险也越大. 走路摔一下破点皮, 骑车就可能骨折, 汽
车飞机出事的后果不用多说. 所以任何科技, 在带来方便的同时也带来危险.
放射性仅仅是一方面. 核能的最大问题, 就是能量的高度集中, 这个其实适用于一切重
工业, 核能后果更复杂而已. 还是这句话, 物极必反, 安全的成本超过规模化集中生产
的效益, 就是极限.
聚变的基本条件,就是高温, 达到10亿度有多难, 不用说长期稳定保持. 你可以说这是
聚变的安全性, 一旦偏离控制点就熄火, 但是这也是它的弱点. 因为工业与实验室正好
相反, 试验成功一秒就可以大吹特吹, 工业停产一秒就是严重事故. chernobyl的事故,
就是因为试图维持稳定, 结果oversteering. 一个实用的process, 必须有相当的惯性
, 否则只能停留在实验室里.
高温聚变同时也是能量效率的最大障碍, 目前还没有一个even close to |

没想到这几天过去，还真争气，1,2,3,4全炸了，电视上看3号堆爆炸是冲天而起，和1,

I'd say it's pretty sever now. Most likely local area will be greatly
affected, while large area spreading around the world like Chernobyl
probably won't happen. They have pressure vessle and containment (even crack
may happen it's still in better situation), and there's no big fire pumping
radioactive stuff into the sky. |

has a half-life of 30 years. At that rate of disintegration, John Emsley
wrote in “Nature’s Building Blocks” (Oxford, 2001), “it takes over 200
years to reduce it to 1 percent of its former level.”
It is cesium-137 that still contaminates much of the land in Ukraine
around the Chernobyl reactor. In 1986, the plant suffered what is considered
the worst nuclear power plant accident in history.

口市今天也傳出自來水輻污些微超標。
「讀賣新聞」報導，川口市東本鄉的新鄉淨水場，驗出每公斤含120貝克（
becquerel）的碘131，嬰兒可攝取量是100貝克。新鄉淨水場供水區包括新鄉、安行、
南平共3區。
新鄉淨水場和先前測出每公斤含210貝克碘131的金町淨水場相同，從江戶川水系
的新三鄉淨水場取水，再混合地下水供給民眾使用。
東京都廳昨天建議居民，在接獲進一步通知前，避免使用自來水沖泡嬰兒奶粉，
引發居民搶購瓶裝水。官員呼籲民眾買進個人所需份量就好，囤貨可能造成311強震災
區民眾無水可用。

历史上，核能曾经是很热门的一个方向。特别是在70年代的
石油禁运后的一段时间内，氧化铀的价格曾经达到$30以上
一磅，但是后来石油禁运解除，加上核电厂的库存的增加，
价格开始逐渐回落，到1986年Chernobyl事件后，欧洲的核
电计划全部中断，铀进入了一个长达16年的大熊市。进入90
年代，苏联解体，开始销毁核武器，他们与美国的一个核燃
料公司签订了协议，把武器级核燃料用贫铀稀释为民用核燃
料，从而大大增加了市场上核燃料的供应，导致氧化铀价格
在$10/lb左右徘徊了十几年，最低曾经到2002年的$7/lb。在
这个价格背景下只有来自加拿大Athabasca的生产才能够生存，
因此造就了世界第一大生产商Cameco(CCJ, CCO.TO)。
2002年后，石油价格开始上升，另外现有的库存已经消耗得差
不多了，加上俄罗斯的核武器合同 |

有谁上班天天迟到一小时，每天用一个多小时工作，让后上网聊天，炒股票，闲逛的到
下午回家。
最近我竟然还在办公室刻起印章了，还是小时候的爱好，这两天又捡起来了。
觉得没奔头，再干也就是十几万一年。。。 |

（想象一下煤炭）,高温的燃料和graphite 一起爆炸了，封是为了掩埋这些暴露在空
中的radioactive material. 基本就是核弹爆炸了，你做事后处理，清理ground，希望
这个地方多少年后还可以住人。
福岛还没有到燃料棒爆炸的境地，所作的工作是让里面继续在反应的neutron被吸收，
同时把热导出来，谁是最简单且有效的方法。这是为什么核电站都在水边的原因。
现在所谓封堆也只能更多的注水，水泥效率太慢，而且并不那么导热。 |

多啊，而且主要都是住在方圆多少公里以内的。我觉得住在美国的要是天天吃罐头（里
面含bpa）和方便面（这就不用说了），估计死得比那点辐射致死的更快。昨天央视转
播NHK新闻，说这个辐射还要搞几个月！我想知道这几个月下来，对动植物的影响有多
大，通过生物链的存积（到人类）会有多少？现在都没有答案啊。 |

OPT规定必须在毕业前申请。这意味着他不可能申请到
OPT了。我觉得怪怪的，既然事先不知道几时能毕业，怎么能在毕业
前申请呢？这里有没有学law的遇到类似情况的。怎么处理这个问题？

Chernobyl当年是大爆炸导致放射性物质大量释放到空气中去，然后随风飘散。这次释
放到空气中的辐射物质有限，而且so far都是二级产物。
anyway，lz关心的是美国的牛奶是否有问题，the answer is no。 |

绝对不是几十公里的事！chernobyl第二天就封顶，后来五十万军队清理，
