is so important that every clinician needs to know how to do it and how to do it right.
Cardioversion is a very safe life saving procedure no matter where in China
or States. I personally like the shit badly because of simplicity, safety,
and effectiveness. I used it in China before and have been using it in
States. I like it, my patient likes it, and I have nerve heard anyone get
sued about cardiversion .

会作为其他人grant里的合作者。他们作为通信作者的文章也不特别多,但是作为合作
者的文章非常多。
这些医生的意义就是给那些做基础研究的人作为合作者。如果你不是tenure-track, 作
为合作者的时候会被人质疑你是否有research time,但如果是tenure-track,就可以解
释说你的research time和funding 挂钩,拿到钱就可以买时间做研究。
但是作为tenure track 的一个特点就是你有一点教学任务,需要给医学生上临床课,
但是在很多医学院,带实习生(intern/resident)也算是教学任务。
至于non-tenure track clinician 和tenure track clinician 有什么差别?这个其实
各有利弊,虽说tenure track是铁饭碗,但是大部分医生其实也不是那么在乎铁饭碗。
而且因为大部分grant都有一个salary cap, 所以总体而言,对于同一个工作,

众所周知,中国虽然是乙肝大国,关于乙肝病毒的研究最发达的国家却是美国。
所以,中国医生嘴里的吃饭不传播乙肝病毒当然是转述自西方流行病研究的成果。但真
要探究吃饭是否传播乙肝病毒,还得考虑以下因素。
1. 目前现代医学的看法是,乙肝病毒携带者唾液里面的浓度远低于血液,所以唾液传
播并不是乙肝传播的主要途径。但注意不是主要途径不代表不是途径。
2. 中国人共餐,几乎每天和家人交换唾液。
3. 最要命的是中国人(包括第一代移民)口腔疾病多,牙齿牙龈有伤口出血是常事,
受感染的几率大增。
所以最有效的途径还是通过打乙肝疫苗,实行分餐。

hrs/week)”
这个是不是就是说把每个人的hour数量除以40,就是这个grant 可以cover的每个人的
工资的比例?
比如如果我的是10hrs/week,是不是就是说我的是25%工资可以从里面出?我看到
project manager是40,博士后是20, 两个主PI是15,其他人是10或者5. 再加上除了
我所有人都是医学院的clinician拿soft money,所以才会这么猜。
我是hard money,不是clinician,也不在医学院。所以要和系头讨论这钱怎么让我收
益。
但是讨论之前想先确认一下我猜的对不对,万一猜错了就闹笑话了。grant都快写好了
,就是budget部分还空着。直接找project lead问,又怕人家本来没打算给我钱cover
工资,只是写时间,那就尴尬了。
所以上这里问问,看看惯例是怎样的?

,比如说独立作project什么的,然后当时也没有好的offer,我最后就去老板B那里.
[经历:]近了实验室后,老板B开始让我开一两门research的课,带他的学生作project
.而我自己虽然看起来有很大的自由度做project,但其实向老板提出任何想法都会被
否定.然后老板一旦遇到难题就来问我,然后我给解释清楚以后,他就拿到外面跟同事
讨论,好像一切东西都是他自己想出来的,我没有任何credit.
本来我希望能够给自己和老板一点时间,我passively aggressive的在实验室慢慢成长.

residency interviewer are straight clinician or clinician+educator who knows
very little about research, and don't know the difference between nature
and other small journal. If you also showed him that you are good clinically
, it will improve your post interview score overall. If you didn't impress

industry experience, but if they know your background and want to interview
you, they might be willing to let you come in relatively green and let you
