这个长周末跟朋友去了cold spring 爬了部分的bull hill trail和cornish estate
trail. Bull Hill 还是挺陡的，初学者还是挺有难度的。 cornish estate trail还比
较容易。每个trail都至少需要2-3个小时。 爬山的人很多，很多。
不知道是不是没有爬到山顶的原因，感觉景色一般，还不如从NYC---Cold Spring 火车
沿途的hudson river valley的景色秀丽。不过cold spring的information center 和
就近的state park 提供的信息服务还挺好听全面的。 trail的标记也很好，红色最难
，蓝色容易，黄色和白色中间难度吧。 |

给05 Escalade 安装了K&N cold air intake, 下图差不多是原来的样子，附件是安装
后的图片。今天在高速上测了一下，MPG 由原来的13.6 上升到16.0, 比原来多了2 -3
个mpg, 和网上有人的反映相符。
但这个mpg 和开车的方式差别很大。如果heavy foot 的话，mpg下除的非常快。
此外，还有个好处，如网上有人说的，感觉transmission 平顺了一些。
但是缺点也是很明显的，大的通气量表明更多的颗粒进入engine, 长时间来看，不知道
对engine 有何影响。 |
