雪况上佳，且人不多。我们14，15滑了两天。14号那天几乎一整天都在下雪，租的车子
没有雪链开不上去，就停在山脚坐了大巴，结果快11点了才滑上。没什么风，但是下午
时候雪道就比较bumpy了——下雪下的。12点多吃东西时听到Jeamouse的手机留言，打过
去时候他们估计已经在滑了，我们又赶着去上课，就没见到。下午1点多去上了个ski t
he upper mountain lesson，觉得不是帮助提高难度的，但是对加强基本功挺有帮助的
。
此行主要滑了蓝道：Sugerloaf和那边的devil's elbow是最开始滑的,人多，有些坡很b
umpy，快不起来。14号下午能见度很差，goggle也花了，害我在一个bumper上摔了个瓷
实的。Collins那边的Collins, Mambo, Meadow很好。还有Wildcat，昨天下午最后去了
Supreme那边的Big Dipper，3 Bears等，窄一点，但是人少。如果要说最喜欢的，那就
是Collins下来的Mambo -- 道宽，人少，够长，可以完全把 |

火灾悲剧发生的当天，Neil Armstrong和Gordon Cooper, Dick Gordon, Jim Lovell,
Scott Carpenter作为宇航员的代表参加了白宫的一场高层晚宴，晚宴的主题是庆祝当
天各国官员签署通过的《和平探索太空公约》，宴会在6点45分准时结束，Neil他们打
车回到了下榻的地方—威斯康辛大街上的乔治城宾馆。从水星计划初期开始，这家宾馆
逐渐变成了NASA宇航员、官员访问华盛顿时期的官方下榻地点，以至于宾馆的老板
Collins Bird和不少NASA的高层都很熟。Collins Bird别出心裁地按照颜色来妆点酒店
的五层客房：二楼是蓝色，三楼是金色，四楼红色，五楼青绿色，六楼是黑白灰三色混
合。当天他把NASA的五个宇航员安排在青绿色的那层。

世代以来，山核桃价格丰年便跌，收成不好时便猛涨，但最近却一路上涨。美国农

现在，这家人住在巴基斯坦Quetta东部郊区，现在住的房子有12间房，总面积超过4000平方米。大叔经营着一家小诊所，每个月的薪水是955美元(约6200人民币)。他说，自己的这份薪水，养着30多个娃，足够了。

但今天读了您的文章，"科学研究是这么做的"，其中一条以为有待商榷。
文中说："科学成果必须能够经得起同行们的质疑、检验和重复。这就要求科学家在
做科学研究时必须严谨、诚实，否则很容易暴露而名誉扫地。" 我以为应该这样说：
"所有的科学研究，都建立在前人和其他研究工作者的研究成果之上，如果在科学研
究中不诚实，往往会误导其他研究者，甚至导致更错误的结果。"科技打假的目的，
并不是让别人名誉扫地，而是让科研的轨迹保持接近真理的道路。我想这样说更能
反映科技打假的目的，和意义。

一是强调NIH受了政府影响，而且他有意无意把美国政府比作苏联和纳粹。
二是强调NIH的公开信就是瞄准中国迫害中国人；并且饶反复为千人计划辩护，声称只
是为了中国招募人才。
三是言辞极其严厉地否定之前Collins的公开信，说信中声称NIH受外国影响是撒谎(lie
)，甚至说出任他顾问委员会的人都有道德污点。
这三条，老美怎么着都不可能接受。前两条，他恐怕低估了美国人对中国的刻板印象和
意识形态冲突。最后一条，白人社会的基本玩法，就是无论犯下多大的事，都绝对不可
以认错。这样直接人身攻击，以后肯定终身都是敌人了。
这看来看去，与其说是写给NIH，不如说是学古代清流文人，写文章来赚国人点赞，博
