半年多前在这个小区买了套房，是在 downtown 附近介于 100 街与 92 街之间的一个
社区里。 98004 的学区，地点好，房子好，风景也还不错，邻居素质好，住得挺舒服
的。本来还想说等房价起来后，拿出去卖掉，不过年纪大了，“不折腾”，就当作养老
之所吧。
我有条黄金猎犬，五岁，每天在社区里遛狗是我的日课。
遛狗的好处除了人与狗都有得锻炼之外，也可以顺便看看人家的房子。这个社区的房子
都挺不错的，连六七十年没有改建过的 dozer 都要 $1M（主要是地价），最高可能可
以到 $3M 吧，前两天经过一套正在卖的要价 $2.67M。我喜欢在遛狗的时候顺便看看邻
居的房子，看看人家的花园怎么设计的，房子的建筑有什么特色等等。同时这个社区的
人也很有礼貌，遛狗时在路上遇见人，都会彼此点头打个招呼，不管对方是开车还是走
路的，只要遇见了就会点个头招招手。

多少人签。后来就愈炒愈热闹了，大多数人都有从众心理，中国人更甚。而且，买卖提
的大部分中国人都是天天看韩剧的，都没怎么看过美国的late night show和comedy，
也拿不准美国人的玩笑该怎么开，于是，一个说是歧视，别人就都跟着喊歧视了。
我是看过JK那段视频的，我看的时候都没在意。后来大家翻出来说了，才觉得it was
not a good joke，但也不至于太上纲上线，提醒他们一下以后注意就可以了。我老婆
连看都没看过那段视频，就跟着别人喊杀喊打的，笑死我了。。。
ABC这种私人利益集团，白宫能出面干涉才怪呢，还以为是中国呢？受了委屈首先想到
是到堂上击鼓鸣冤，盼着出个青天大老爷给自己作主？据说还想打官司，能赢才怪呢。
就算有个人当面说要杀你全家，你去报警，警察也未必真把那人怎样，警察还要分析那
个人实施的可能性能有多大？要是那个人连你们家住哪儿都不知道，警察也就是警告一
下那人而已。就算警察闲的无聊提起公诉了，最后法庭最多就是给那人一个

真布什，当时众所周知地和老马不对付。他在演讲时“呼吁”，放弃党派斗争，各个派

leno这个老头子倒是很面熟，有时候看而已。
我来美5年了吧。头两年太忙，基本不看电视，后来enjoy看soap，然后mad tv，SNL也
开始看，喜欢看E！style，bravo等台的综艺节目，喜欢看选秀节目，然后，开始喜欢
上了travel频道和food network，如果没节目可以看的时候，完全可以守着travel台和
food两个台轮流看，一点都不厌倦。同时这几年，偶然看了family guy后，爱的不行，
现在基本上跟着看family guy。
关于文化背景，咱还是需要补课。family guy确实好笑，里面非常多模仿经典电影镜头
的片段，还有很多make fun of“名人轶事”的片段。对我来说，因为西方电影看得还
算多，从90年代开始，在国内接受的美国pop文化也不少，基本对那些美国pop名人花边
新闻娱乐新闻也一直很津津乐道。。。所以基本上，他们crack的jokes，基本上能看懂
。但是如果他们讲到更文化性的一些东西，或者只是美国人民更了解的不太出名的人，

speaks with an accent - I watched one of his shows in which he spoke with
near perfect American English. And I agree he's found funny because he used
his background as a foreigner, just like John Oliver (used to perform in
Tonight Show but now has his own show) used his British background and
accent to attract stand up comedy audience.
