参加了一个每周的查经班。在那个新年的前夜悲剧发生了，我们查经班里的一位年轻女
孩被强奸并杀死了，她的尸体被扔在离校园不远的树丛里。我至今还能记起她那张像天
使一样纯洁的面孔。她的男朋友也在我们的查经班。他看起来痛苦不已。
几天后，联邦调查局来我们的宿舍问话。他们问起她的男朋友。我跟联邦调查局的人担
保，她的男朋友是个很好的基督徒，他每个礼拜都和我们在一起聚会祷告。没想到，几
个月后，这个男朋友在试图绑架强奸另一位女孩子的时候被抓住了。我深深地感到我上

大学十年，突然要离开这种生活去要面对另外一种不同的生活去，或许我会去公司、或者
去高校、或者去研究院所，甚至也可能出国，总之我要面对的不再是为了什么而去学习（
实际上我至今都不知道我学习的目的是什么），我需要首先去谋生，首先要生存。而不再
是象现在一样，虽然研究生阶段需要家庭资助的已经不多了，不过还是在潜意识里还是有
一种依赖，以后可能还会有这种依赖，但可能心情已不一样了。
于是很想回忆一些什么，首先我想到的自然是我的大学，我的北洋：1994年我从一个江苏
边陲的小镇来到了天津大学。

It calls detached, right?
Another deference is detached thread is not abort after all the joinable or
calling thread is done, so that the process is still running. Right?
