我时不时来生物版看看，因为我来北美也做了10年的科研，我自己觉得我有兴趣但
没有大的出路，也不是我和我的家庭的晚年的理想归途。于是，我40岁开始做跳槽
努力，虽然勉强过了USMLE，混进了住院，但我尽了最大努力做好，近50岁时从新开
始当医生。至少，我和我家人不再为养老发愁了，这里就不说那些悬壶济世治病救
人的高尚话语了。
我就不明白，要是真对科学感兴趣，愿意献身，老哭诉什么？如果不甘心，不请愿，

不过我的直觉是这个decay rate不是那么好算的（我没考虑过这个问题）
假设系统从ground state经过frank condon transition被激发到excited state
然后途径conical intersection(CI)回到ground state
那么你不能只算CI这一个nulcear configuration
而要考虑从ground state minimal energy configuration到CI之间的path
如果这个path是barrierless那么可能比较好说
另外landau zener formula是需要速度的
这个速度从哪儿来呢，恐怕得考虑我前面说的path才能算出来
而不是做一个single point calculation而已 |

这样先做对基态做一个构型优化，得到基态的能量，
然后，做TD,或者CIS,就能算出vertical excitation所需要的波长。
这个其实不是所需要的最短波长，可是根据Frank-Condon原理，是吸收的cross-
section最大的波长，也就是photodissociation所需要的波长。
你查查文献，看看那个photodissociation对应的是哪个excited state,假设对应的是
第一个excited state
那CIS的输入就是：

#p cis uhf/basis gfinput geom=check guess=read
photodissociation
0,2
还有写gaussian输入时候，最后一行一定要是空行。
因为你的是open shell (radical) system,那些singlet,triplet keywords你不用关心。

发帖数: 1933 | 40 过去在Little Rock呆了6年，可能是这里大部分人还没来时候。到了大城市，和别人说
起小石城，那里人都是感觉是蛮荒之地。而在小石城的老美说起大城市，也是感觉交通
拥挤，生活忙碌，生活消费高。不是过日子的好地方。
对于中国人来说，大城市的饮食是远远比小城市优越的。 且不说多如牛毛的中餐馆，
而且中餐馆里的食物是符合中国人口味的，而不将就老美的。 因为当地华人的消费就
能撑的起餐馆的生意。超市里的食材也更为丰富，几乎所有中餐调味料都能找到，还有
人帮你杀活鱼。夜生活也是大城市里好，各种商店都开到很晚，晚上很有人气，不像小
城市一过9点路上就人迹罕见了。文化活动也比较多，博物馆，音乐会，每周总能找到
活动。不过房子好贵，half millon只能买condon,天天堵车很是讨厌。生活压力大也是
缺点，大城市里老美同事很少出去吃饭，很多自己带饭。而在小石城，虽然工资没有那
么高，但是大部分同事还是在外面吃午饭。
小城市的优点是悠闲的生活，物价低（房子和孩子教育费用）给了生活很多宽裕。学生
靠奖学金都能买个小房子住住。上班也不远，每天花在路上时间少。
大家是喜欢住哪里呢？ |

The Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia ruled today that evidence
derived from the warrantless use of a GPS tracking device by police can be
used in court.
The decision has drawn fire from the American Civil Liberties Union, as it
seems to condone a practice that violates Fourth Amendment rights.
In the court’s 8-5 ruling in U.S. v. Katzin, it applies an extremely broad

我和你们说
很多黑鬼真的特别劣种，馋懒奸猾坏，各种烂
比如我bf新买的condon要全租，本来一个黑娘们说要租，开始是死活房租deposit拖着
不交，后来又耍赖推迟move in时间，现在被我男友退了她deoisit让她滚了（她还没搬
进来呢就一对烂事儿）。黑娘们威胁要告我bf。。。。去告吧，贱黑鬼！
靠，明明是丫非常没有信用，还倒打一耙，还说啥种族歧视
mlgb的种族歧视，自己烂还搞歧视牌，真是贱死了！
