我在洛杉矶，这边的能见度总体来讲比国内要好，但是呼吸道过敏的人很多很多。美国
人把这个认为是花粉过敏，但是事实上如果查一下该类疾病的发病记录就可以发现，70
年代之前鲜有人得这个病。
事实上70年代是洛杉矶空气污染最为严重的时期，著名的洛杉矶烟雾，是大气化学研究
中的重要课题，到现在也是。
相比国内各大工业城市以含硫煤燃烧引发的大气污染（这也有个名字：伦敦型烟雾），
洛城的空气污染主要是含氮氧化物所至。因为这种微粒不比硫化物那样对大气中的水那
么有亲和力，所以微粒不会在大气中生长得很大，因此基本上不会影响到城市的能见度
（要知道，干净的空气中也必须要有一定含量的各种微粒的，这些微粒对降水的形成非
常重要）。 但是氮氧化物在强烈的太阳照射下，会形成强氧化性的臭氧或者原子氧，
这才是呼吸道疾病的真凶！

的慢性病。
慢性病来说，心肺肾肝胃相关的很多慢性病都确实表现为体液积累过多/四肢水肿/肺水
肿/腹水，进而导致呼吸困难，行动困难，心律不齐等症状。比如现在美国导致住院的
第一病因CONGESTIVE HEART FAILTURE，就是变现为四肢浮肿或是肺水肿，进而导致呼
吸困难。
西医来说，对症下药一般就是利尿药。控制饮水。
如果因为心衰恶化进急诊，医生上来第一件事就是给你开利尿药排水。
即使是普通的慢性病，比如高血压，现在很多医生还是把利尿药作为一线用药。对于早
期高血压，LISINOPRIL+HCTZ是经典药物了。
大师强调大部分固疾都是因为体内水分过多导致，所以用芒硝这种强泻药排水。其实和
西医也算一个路数了。
芒硝导致的排泄，不仅排水，本身也降低了血钾浓度。高血钾是很多慢性肾病患者的并
发症，也是心律失常的诱因之一。当然还有其它一些作用，就不一一列举。
所以胡万林的芒硝治病还是有理论基础的。当然芒硝治百病就有点过了。 |

Elizabeth Taylor Dies at 79

Legendary actress, AIDS activist and LGBT icon Elizabeth Taylor died
Wednesday morning in Los Angeles. She was 79.
Her death was confirmed to CBS Radio News and other outlets shortly after 9
a.m eastern time.
Taylor's publicist, Sally Morrison, told the Associated Press that the
actress died of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Taylor
