are willing to assume your random variable has a beta distribution, then you
can use your conjugate beta prior.
For those you cannot find a conjugate prior, usually it is because your
distribution function is not in a "nice" format, and hence your prior*
likelihood function does not have the same kernal as your prior. So the key
is if you find a prior that has the same kernal as prior*likelihood, you

我要做的实验，希望能conjugate a few ug protein to beads (dynabeads, etc)。
要求是用量越少越好（protein贵啊～），在此前提下beads coverage越高越好，
有什么product可以推荐？conjugation完成后如何定量？lab里用nanoorange，据说
效果很一般。
最后，lab用NHS-EDC link primary amine，有什么alternative吗？我指link蛋白
上其他位点。

dynabeads，发现conjugation efficiency远低于预期值。而且比较头疼的是
要测出真实efficiency也很tricky。间接测反应后溶液里剩多少protein很
不准。
请高手指教有没有efficiency比较高的beads？最好是magnetic的（是不是
只有dynabeads系列？？），其他的介质也可以。最好是covalent linkage，
biotin-avidin的也行。BTW我的target protein pI在5~6

另外 从别的坛子上看来的 有人说 conjugate prior 是基于 sufficient statistics
来的
有时候可能出现 conjugate prior 不存在的情形
这时候只要抓住 sufficient statistics 及其 expectation 即可 但这招不是什么时
候都灵验 我现在需要对beta分布的random variable 进行 Bayesian parameter
estimation 就遇到困难了 |

经过一段时间的改进mesh，问题已经解决了，是mesh的问题，mesh太重要了，尤其对于
这种流固conjugated的情况。
版本13明显就要比12.1要好。我用的是workbench里面的那个mesh,不是什么GAMBIT，或
者其他mesh tool, workbench 里面的mesh 功能比12.1的强大多了，FLUENT也是。

Parametric的Bayesian Model可以直接在Sampling的每一步得到closed-form solution
。不用Conjugate Prior，算积分算死。最终的直接结果就是Parametric的Bayesian
Model能很轻松的处理大规模数据，estimate几万几十万个甚至更多parameter都不在话
下。
我还没见过有一般的MCMC玩超过100个dimension以上的问题。 |
