1. Upper respiratory tract infection (RUI), runny nose, cough, yellow sputum
, but we can roughly rule out pneumonia, since the CXR is normal.
2. GERD: nocturnal cough, and relieved by losec, right? but typically, the
patient with GERD will tell that they can feel heartburn or chest pain, and
most of them can feel the reflux of the acid.

There is medicine for symptom control, but no magic drug to make it go away
immediately. Most of the cough is due to irritation to the airway, and not

coughing sound was horrible, so we took him to the ER. The doctors there
gave him the 激素 once, and then let him have a Popsicle claiming that the
cold stuff could help dampening his inflammation around the throat area. My

My child started to have this problem at 1. Initially I was alarmed when
she seemed to labor through her breath when she caught a cold. It did not
seem to bother her - her whole little body seemed to work on drawing air.

there is not much we can do.
If the cancer cell has specific mutation, there are erlotinib/gefitinib and
crizotinib that are targted therapy. Only if your relative has those
specific mutation. Those meds are expensive and only prolong survival. There
is no cure for stage IV lung cancer. 5 year survival is only 1-2%
realistic speaking, your relative should do whatever he/she wants to do
while still alive

儿复查，可当时没发烧，又什么药没给让回去了。第五天，宝宝还是咳嗽的厉害，我又
带她去儿艺，想让医生给开抗生素，医生说是VIRAL造成的，抗生素没用，弊大于利。
只是给开了些雾化的药。 我看宝宝虽然还是咳嗽，但是晚上我开着加湿器，她睡觉倒
是影响不大。白天吃饭，玩耍依旧，觉得没必要给激素雾化，就没给她做雾化。

my second one was 8 days old. I had a ruuning nose and a bad cough for 2
weeks. But the baby was fine. I was breastfeeding all the time. But you do
need keep an eye on baby's tempreture sine at this age she/he maybe sick
without a running nose or cough. I will suggest you keep breastfeeding but
wear a mask, wash hand and change your clothes whenever you handle the baby.

like half sit, half lay down), then put the baby on your chest/tommy, let
him face down. So the mucus won't fall to his throat. Make sure the bed is
big, because when you fall to sleep, the baby might fall off, make sure he
won't fall off the bed.
When my babies have running nose/cough, we have to sleep this way for a few
days.

感冒了，只能抗着，没有感冒的灵丹妙药。而且抗体只能自己通过感冒来制造。
但是发高烧必须用降热药:泰诺/motrin.

中耳炎：每次发烧只能上抗生素。我的印象是细菌感染的原因生病就必须上抗生素。如

们查了查风险，拖了几周，因为是夏天到了。我儿子没有再感冒，他的中耳炎终于好了。
我们一般多联系护士和医生，听医生的建议，但也网上查询。小儿一岁之后可以和蜂蜜
了，咳嗖/感冒多喝蜂蜜水会舒服些。 walmart 有生的蜂蜜，效果更好。 |

以才吐了。这两天非常cranky，不让躺下，必须竖着抱。可是晚上睡自己的crib也ok。
辅食停了，奶喝的挺好。但每次喝完过好久还会有点反胃的意思。希望今天最后一dose

大约一天上十次左右。因为一直没有发烧，也没有变糟，就没有再去看。中间不断喝冰
糖炖犁水，晚上开加湿器，没大改善。昨天开始厉害起来又开始，再去看病，医生说肺
部听起来还好，没有发烧，耳朵没有发言，嗓子看起来也还好，还是说Croup cough，

我的PD说，TDap没打的人，就算是爷爷奶奶姥姥姥爷，也不要让他们接近宝宝。她看的

Any night time awakening, wheezing, SOB, chest tightness, any trigger,体检发
现了些啥？
Chronic cough work up起来是比较费事的。但是基本上大部分是由rhinitis/
postnatal drip,asthma(asthma也可以有种asthma叫cough variant asthma), GERD引
起来的。
你要是信不过你的医生，你就让他refer你去看pulmonary or allergy doctor吧。俺也
给不了你啥建议了。也没法给，因为你不是我的门诊病人，不了解你的情况，而且没有
医患bond的义务在里面，不能误导。 |

coughed at night when he was sleeping. We took him to the doctor and the
doctor gave us a nebulizer with some kind of liquid medicine. He didn't
have to take the medicine - just had to put the medicine in the nebulizer
and let him breathe the mist. That really work wonders. You should ask the
doctor for it.

treatment了,如果没有nebulizer,有的娃也可以用albuterol inhaler pump connected
with spacer with mask.
Q4-6H as needed for persistent cough, SOB, or wheezing.
如果很严重,给了一次后不管用的话,20分钟后可以再给一次,如果还不管用,直接去ER吧

发帖数: 956 | 36 我们也年初送的2月底3月，连着生病好几个月。咳嗽也是才刚刚好。咳嗽厉害的时候会
吐，家里幼儿园都吐过，晚上尤其厉害。我当时都以为是咳嗽型的哮喘了，还好现在好
了。
我们就是晚上电风扇什么基本不开，洗澡时候给用热水重点冲脖子（低水压，基本就是
浇）。幼儿园空调开得低就给她加个小背心。尽量避免再生病。
还给喝cough syrup，她爹research来的，好像是Zarbees Childrens Cough Syrup。我
尝过，主要是蜂蜜，挺好喝的。这么折腾，已经喝到第二瓶了，基本不咳了。
我觉得楼主既然知道凉的会引起咳嗽，那么尽量避免吧。
我们当时也是发现她晚上咳得厉害，但一关电扇马上好很多才知道不能吹冷风的。 |

cough的有效时间只有一年，tentanus是10年。我的ob说现在的protocol是每次怀孕都
要打。

也可控制。而且近半年来每次流鼻涕，咳嗽，我们马上用坛子里推荐过的Hyland's

我在啰嗦几句：
疫苗的基本原理是正确的：弱化的病毒病菌来引出身体的免疫力。
但是从原理到实践有很多步骤，每个环节都可能出错。在mitbbs上混的不少搞科研开发
的，应该对things go wrong all the time有切身体会。 问题是疫苗出了错，娃娃遭
殃，父母悲愤。不可不多加小心。
比如：
１。 多弱的病源算弱？ 人种个体差异那么大。同样的疫苗对某些人是太弱的病源无
法激发免疫力，对某些人确实太强了引发真的疾病。 最有名的例子是Polio。以前用
得活 polio太强，引发疫苗产生的小儿麻痹症。 医疗界掩盖这个意外，对外只说从某
