Charles Jones看上去很普通，就好象一个你我身边的人，没有什么政客的油滑气息。
我们去见他是周六的下午，问他周六干嘛，说见面完了以后会去扫街。现在他最大的竞
选策略就是扫街，因为他扫街的时候才能充分了解民意，知道如何调整自己的政纲。
Charles以前是做Apple, AT&T面对企业的市场。他曾经拥有过自己的咨询公司，专门负
责外包政府工程（不是外包到美国以外，而是作为政府的供应商), 而这个公司一度每
个月的员工开销达到20万，也就是说这已经不是一家很小的小公司了。所以Charles完
全理解一个小企业主的艰辛，也最在意小企业的经营环境，反对加税。

助学金项目
助学金项目开始于1993年，是基金会推出的第一个资助
项目，也是OCEF最重要的资助项目。 OCEF助学金项目针对中
国贫困地区家庭经济困难的初中、小学生，由OCEF在海外募款
后，直接向受助学生发放人民币资助金，用于弥补受助学生的
学习费用及部分生活费用支出。
