都是倒霉的大潮害的，一次没赶上，两次被坑爹！
回头看看当初的emails，欲哭无泪啊！！！
故事情节是这样的：
07/6/25来的公司，过了两个星期给公司律师发信，律师说我们正在集中处理high
volume 140/485 filing，没时间处理新perm，让我9月再跟他们联系
等到9月我给律师发信，律师说我们正在统计new hire需要办理perm的人员名单，说我
在里面，他们会给我指定一个outside counsel处理我的case，让我10月12号如果没人
跟我联系我再找她
数着日子到了10月12号没人跟我联系，忍到07年10月15号星期五跟律师发信，10月17号
律师回信说给我找了个outside counsel，如果10月26号之前没人跟我联系那我再找她
又数了两个星期的日子，还是没人理，10月30号忍不住给律师发信发信，律师过了两天
回信说她跟outside counsel联系了，他们会跟我联系。

borderline。
复习材料： CS FA (4th edition), CSE video
辅导班：去年7月考完CK，上了Wolfe CS辅导班。
复习时间： 总共360小时。
复习经验：CS就是要多练，这大家都知道，但这个考试不同于step1 和 CK的地方是，
你很难估量自己什么时候ready了，因为没有参照，除了上一些辅导班，有所谓的模考
，真正还是要根据自己对自己的了解程度来决定是否可以参加考试了。所以，如果你觉
得自己比较confident了，让考过并pass的同学再帮你练习几个case，如果都觉得你差
不多了，那你再去考试。有的同学有请tutor，我没有。有时有些tutor说你ready了，
其实你并没有，结果考试fail了，这种事也时常发生，就像我的朋友，三次都没有过。
因为随着match的难度增加，考试是输不起的，至少我是这么认为的。如果没有比较大
的把握，还是往后推一些时间。

友面对面练习。
1) Encounter may begin.
开始阅读doorway信息。last name, 性别，主诉，快速瞄一眼要不要求体检。然后快速
写下OCDFPPAAAGUWASFT PFHAMOSS, 女性把o改为OB/GYN。在AAA旁边写上2-3个鉴别诊断
名词，同时写上体检项目（心、肺、腹、神、头、甲）。同时，这些也是需要询问的大
系统。这一步40-50秒，争取不要超过1分钟。
2) 走到病人面前，微笑，建立眼神接触之后再说话，伸出手准备握手。Hi, Mr. Smith

我读的是Counselor Education and Supervision的博士, 前提是你必须有counseling

Match的结果终于尘埃落定，周1等电邮的时候非常紧张，因为成败就在此了，虽然一直
告诉自己，今年只是热热身，成败都可以接受，但到真的揭晓的时候，还是很紧张，毕
竟一旦卷入其中就身不由己，何况自己也还是有所付出。到周4等match program的时候
虽然也有点紧张，但程度已经大大减少，1个原因是毕竟match上才是头等大事，去哪里
尚在其次，还有1个原因是心理还是有所准备了，虽然希望留在home school，但直觉告
诉我恐怕是非常困难了，在我rank list上第二位的program应该就是我要去的地方，果
不其然。经过几天的等待，发现果然是要搬家了。

Bloomington 的AD，而且是master。其实我本来申请的是PhD，是因为PhD把我据了，所
以踩录取到了master里。今天刚刚收到了他们的录取信，系里的信上说明了系里不能提
供奖学金。现在我觉得有些矛盾，如果我留在本校读本专业的PhD的话，就会有奖学金
。而如果到UI读，还要再读两三年才拿一个master，而且现在没有奖学金，也不知道第
二年会不会拿到奖学金。想问问大牛一般在counseling 读master的话，如果一开始没
有奖学金，第二年拿assistantship的可能性有多大。
另外还有一个问题，我在网上看了counseling的就业前景，有人说很好，有人说不好，
有人说工资高，有人说工资低，本人有点迷惑。其实工资的高低对我来说不是很重要，
关键是想知道中国人作为外籍人给美国人做counseling的有效性有多大呢？各位大牛中
