At a certain hour
the blind wind will rest
against the façades
第二句
Cringing shadows…
we're lost in this wood
among clans of morels
第一句

An apple a day keeps the
而且读书始自ABC,美国小孩都会念‘A’ for Apple,'B' for ...

I intentionally copied him :)

Darth Vader. apparently surpassing Darth Vader in character is a tall order
for the new bad guy. However, I cringed at his weakness showcased in the
movie.

A pathetic, cheap, boring action non-movie that should put Hollywood to
shame..., 28 June 2011
Transformers: Dark of the Moon does put me in some dilemma. To call it a
movie would be gross injustice, for it is anything but, it is a sad, raucous
, empty 150 minute flick that tricks you into yawning insufferably. To call
it a bad movie would be no less an injustice, as it would give the bad
movies a bad name. So if we agree to call it Thing, I should say that it is
one terrible Thing....

LZ的英文reminds me of something.
Long ago, one friend of mine planned to come to the states to study, so she
wondered if I could get someone to revise her personal statement. I turned
to a Dutch Ph.D for help. This lady speaks and writes in perfect English.
Just like most other Chinese applicants, my friend had flowery and dramatic
words piled up in her PS. The dutch lady was cringing when she was doing the
favor for me. In the end, I was quite embarrassed because she said she was
about to cough up...

We write our destiny; we become what we do.

This short is more about cringe-inducing honesty than riotous humor. If the
fact that there are some Asian-American girls who discriminate against their
own race due to media stereotypes bothers you, then good! It should bother
you because it is truly a sad state of affairs. Asian-Americans face a lot
of bullying, and Asian-American girls have some of the highest rates of
depression in America.

来自主题: WaterWorld版 - About Zhu Ling's case
I think it's the right strategy to push this case to the daylight. Social
media and internet is the right channel.
If the Chinese authority wanted to solve this case, they have had all the
time in the world (for fvcking 19 years!).
Let the real criminal(s) cringe. Let the Chinese authority and government
feel the pressure of public opinions from all over the world. And let
Tsinghua be ashamed.

None of these folks cross 50%, which is not very surprising to myself. The
closest is Trump at 49%. While I sympathize with many issues that DT brought
up, I cringe at the idea with an egomaniac put his finger on nuclear button
, no way, not with 10 ft pole, not anywhere close to it.
