5分钟可以做一大盘。空气里面都是甜甜的味道。
原料：butter半根，rice crispy 六杯，小的marshmallow一袋。
用个锅子把butter和marshmallow融化，小火免得烧焦了。
关火，然后把marshmellow倒进去。拌匀了浇在平底的盘子里面就好了。
喜欢的话也可以用刀子切成规则的方形，就可以带去上班当早餐吃。
我一般就整块放那里，喜欢就扳一块下来。

那天玩回来，实在是想找一家中餐，发现美味居离住的地方比较近，就去了。菜样式太
少就罢了（14.99刀的话，我们本地的buffet比它好得不知多少了）。TNND盘子明显没
洗干净，洗洁精的泡沫清晰可见。我换了好几个盘子，终于找到一个看着干净点的。最
崩溃的是，几个服务员坐在那里，都在用手机打游戏或者用笔记本上网。点的茶没了，
半天不来加，剩的盘子也不来拿走。最后只好起身叫他们。但是最后看在同胞份上，还
是给了20%小费。
那个明苑（Ming Court,在International Dr上），就更别提了。头天就去那里吃晚饭
，一坐下，服务员就问，你们是来玩的吧？我当时就心里咯噔一下。问这话是准备区别
对待啊还是怎么着？LD嘴快，说是啊。然后点菜：一个鱼香茄子煲（再三给服务员强调
是要煲，因为它菜单上没有，但是服务员说可以做），一个crispy 排骨（本来想点椒
盐排骨，但是没有，服务员说可以做crispy 排骨，主要是点给儿子吃），一个辣椒牛
肉，一个蒜蓉芥兰。
结果菜上来了，鱼香茄子煲是用盘子端上来的茄子炒肉丝，问服务员，她说这就是他们

Lunch: one Saqima + one rice crispy bar + 2 pecans + 1/2 cup of stir-fried
veggies - 500
Snack: 1one Saqima + one rice crispy bar - 300
Dinner: 1/4 cup of rice + several chickens + several meat balls + 1/2 cup of veggies + several pieces of raddish - 500
Total: 1600
Exercised: 2 miles' walking
Shouldn't eat too many rice crispy bars and Saqima. Cannot control my diet
now. :-(

试试阿。
方子就是rice crispy上面的。
3TBS butter
4 cup 棉花糖
6 cup rice crispy
我另外加了1 cup的炒熟的黑芝麻
取一大锅，小火化butter,再把棉花糖放进去融化，充分搅拌融化后，离火。
加入米花，加入芝麻 （你也可以自己发挥，加入葡萄干、花生之类，我怕咬到花生太
硬，就只用芝麻）， 拌匀。所有米花都沾到糖就好了。
把拌好的米花放入烤盘，压平，建议使用wax paper， 防沾。
倒出，切块，冷透，就可以吃了/。
锅和勺子会沾不少糖，洗了可惜，直接做菜炖肉，就不用放糖了。
照片拍了，可是效果太差，就不拿出来吓唬人了。可是味道是绝对没有问题的，而且简
单搞定。 |

We went to Hunan Manor last night. Here is the report:
We ordered Beijing duck, crispy Eggplant, PiBa Tofu, beef strew, rib, soup.
LD loves crispy eggplant. I felt it is a little too sweet. Beijing duck is
more like Guangdong flavor (Shao La). I don't like the tofu. Soup is too
thick.
It is okay to dine, but not a big hit. |

正名 中餐菜名将统一规范
随着国际化程度不断提高，本市越来越多的餐馆开始提供英文或中英文对照菜单。但中餐菜名一直没有规范的翻译方法，很多餐馆老板将中文菜名直译成英文，闹出不少笑话。一家餐馆曾将火爆腰花直接译成Pork flower(猪肉花)，弄得外国食客一头雾水。

在美国有这么些中国菜，每个中国餐厅都可以点到。外国人认为它们很好吃，是正统的
中国食品；中国的学生对它们深恶痛绝，觉得是侮辱了中国菜。
从前菜开始说起吧：
Crab Rangoon (蟹角)：听起来好像是一道海鲜，可惜事实是这只是一道有奶酪炸
馄饨。
Spring Rolls(春卷)：传统意义上的春卷外皮薄脆，芯子一般用大白菜香菇豆腐干
丝等制成。而在美国的春卷个个都有着饱满的滴油的外皮和可怜的豆芽肉芯，受到大众
的欢迎。
Lo Mein(捞面)：捞面的话以蚝油捞面为主，面条要弹牙才好吃，而美国的捞面一
般都糊成一团，而且放很多酱料，不是过甜就是过咸。

美国种植的玉米中转基因品种所占的比例逐年增加，到2013年美国玉米的90%是转基因
的品种。反转控没法否定这个事实，就狡辩说，转基因玉米在美国是当饲料和工业用的
，不是供人吃的。此前我已写了两篇文章驳斥这个说法：《“美国人不吃转基因玉米”

首先，这个店的厨房工作人员100％都不戴帽子，不戴发套，以此照片示众，实为商家
的大忌，仅凭这一条就违规了，如果是政府部门来检查发现这一点，直接就可以开罚单
。 由此也能看出这个店的管理不正规。
