昨天本博转发了国外洋葱讽刺网的一篇文章，揭露西方统治势力曾经指使学者伪造希腊
历史，为希腊民主制度整容。
这里介绍一下一下何新对此问题的看法。老何说：
这篇文章揭露的根本不够。西方近代资本主义文明的根，本来就不是希腊的宗教文化而
是犹太的宗教和金钱崇拜文化。这方面可以看两个犹太学者韦伯（论证过新教的希伯来
渊源）与波普（曾经大骂希腊文明）的书。中国自由主义很膜拜这两个犹太自由主义学
者，但是看来对他们的书没有认真地读。
原生希腊人是黑头发黑眼睛的人种，与古埃及人（黄种人）接近。而与北欧那种黄头发
、蓝眼睛、满身长毛的哥特——日耳曼——盎格鲁撒克逊人根本不搭界。
事实上，古希腊人与古代罗马人都认为北欧、西欧那些白色人是没有进入文明的野蛮人
——蛮族。而就是这些希腊罗马人眼中的“蛮族”，在种族上才是现代西方多数欧美人
的祖宗。
老何说，希腊有很多城邦，多数不实行城邦“民主”制度。
雅典的城邦民主是保留氏族血缘社会时代氏族民主的残余——不是什么先进制度。中国
先夏时代——尧舜禹传说时代也是实施这种氏族民主——“选贤与能”。这方面可以看

我觉得中国现在应该由教育部统一制定一个专门的中英词汇表，对一些专门名词统一英
语翻译，比如各种奖励（三好学生、各种奖学金，名誉称号等等），教职员职称职务等
等，这样比较严肃。。。不像现在大家随便来。。。
台湾还是比较规范的，比如台大专门有个词汇表：

mission。对Pinterest来说，human-curated的信息通过interest graph联系起来，结
合用户在网站上的行为，能够让用户比较容易的接触到自己感兴趣的内容。这个过程和
用户主动去Search不太一样，我们把它叫做Discovery。
比如Pinterest的promoted pins(Ads)，就是通过Discovery engine把和用户兴趣最
relevant的广告显示给用户。因为Pinterest上的内容以图片的形式展现给用户，一图
胜千言，所以在吸引力和有效性方面都比纯文字的方式会好一些。目前Pinterst在运行
了Ads之后revenue的表现还是非常不错的。当然具体的数字是insider data，我不能
share。第二，因为Pinterest一直以来都非常注重用户体验，结合强大的Discovery
engine去deliver非常relevant的内容，用户看到广告后的engagement目前也非常不错。

1。差异化功能不足。
2。Diversity 不够。
我看startup主要看potential和risk. 前者决定估值，后者决定能不能上市或被收购。
P上述两问题跟这两方面都相关。
Potential可以考虑很多方面，比如user time， diversity等。P最强的是user
curated data, 这个是短期内积累不出来的，在这个vertical内data有很好的shopping
intention for ads and marketing。但是受众有限，P除了弱社交，跟当前最火的SMS
/O2O/IOT都不沾。最近Founder这个表态，可以有不同解读。从我这种长期看衰P的人的
角度来解读，主动出来表明自己不是social network, 无非是为了给投资者留下想象
空间，其实是一种没有自信的象征。你就是social, 还是弱social.
Risk主要在于P的差异化功能。P的优势太局限。Pinterest 之于 FGLT, 就像
