大家可能都听说了一点儿Montgomery County curriculum 2.0 math的事吧。具体的就
是小学的孩子们只能跟着自己的班级上课。老师会把班上的孩子分组。然后分组教学。
现在有个简单的问卷，能帮助我们了解curriculum 2.0 math的执行情况。是铁板一块
，还是有flexibility。
1）小学名称；
2）小学有没有math extension；
3）如果有，math extension是怎么组织的？
- 是否所有的grade都有？
- 老师教还是家长教？
- 什么教材？
- 怎么挑的学生？
- 有没有学校的监管？

发帖数: 15010 | 2 是的，Curriculum 2 是体现他们政绩的旗帜，除非把他们都赶下台，是不可能推翻的。
所以，petition的目标不是对着整个 Curriculum 2， 仍然支持引入的新的课程和内
容（实际上这些是Curriculum 2的大部分）
反对的是：将所有不同ｌｅｖｅｌ的学生放到一个教室授课 - 要保持“根据自己的兴
趣和能力，给每个学生创造机会发展，脱颖而出”的教学ｍｏｄｅｌ。不论是小孩将来
想成为政客，ｌａｗｙｅｒ，工程师，音乐家，还是电影明星， 他们都得到相应的教
育。总之，就是因材施教。
学监心理也明白这部分有问题，所以他 keep talking "give change to go deeper
and deeper" "keep diversity".

虽然美国住院医训练制度相对标准化，但是各个医院具体情况不同，训练的侧重点也可
以有较大不同。最近有几位同学对这个问题比较关心，我说说个人体会，算是抛砖引玉
，也给今年面试的同学做个参考。
1. Patient population
贫困区的病人往往年轻些，20-50岁居多。因为大多没有保险，重病人多是因为平时得
不到适当的医疗所导致。AIDS/吸毒病人比较多，另外也经常见到Asthma exacerbation
, Sickle cell crisis, 严重感染等。Resident的自主性比较强，procedure比较hands
on一些。气管插管，腰穿等等很快就certify了。不过抽血等scutwork往往也偏多。这
里的病人往往不太按时随诊，相应而讲纵向观察病情演变的机会略少。
富人区的医院病人往往年龄偏大，70-80很常见。病人除了入院的主要病情, 既往史往

章很麻烦，耽误了2个多月，材料才得以从学校寄出。个人觉得申请算是比较顺利。把
我当时准备的情况跟大家说一下也许对将要申请的人有一点帮助。
我个人从这里寄出去的材料包括：
1.国内护士执照的公正，在这里网上找的公证处，在纽约，叫最佳公正，电话
7183212810
2.指纹卡，就在我住的地方的警察局办的，free
3.handbook上的申请表，贴一张照片在右下角（handbook链接：http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/applicants/exam-app.pdf）
这一页有一项是填社会安全号，我当时没有就空着的，没有关系。
4.两张支票，一张办指纹的($51)，一张申请的($75)
5.写了一封信，表示感谢，一张纸，很客气的几句话
从学校寄出的材料：
1.中英文成绩单（学校有，我来之前到学校教务处办好的）
2.学位证书和毕业证书中英文版（来之前自己办好到学校教务处办好的，盖好了章）
3.课程描述9门（内外妇儿、精神科护理、生理、解剖、免疫、微生物，好像是这些，

创立新教，不如高仿现有宗教，还可以塞点私货。
一贯道搞五教合一，是个很不错的思路。五教都是神，都是道，都是天帝/上帝，都是
唯一真神,都是宇宙最大佛，都是自然神。当然现在回教徒进入疯狗模式了，暂时可以

这样可以随意盗用各派教义，但实践上取那些通俗易懂的部分，行善积德，广种福田之

基础教义容易，下几本电子书综合一下就行。后面传教才困难。开山总坛设在哪里，总

research, teaching, and curriculum development
请问这个是怎么样的格式，我目前写了常见的statement of research interest,
statement of teaching interest。 是把这两个combine一下就可以了么？这个
curriculum development 部分要写什么呢？
还有我statement of teaching interest 写了很多大概是philosophy 的感觉，比如认
为激发学生兴趣很重要这种，是不是没有意义？还不如写自己打算教哪些课？
