Attic, Basement and Crawl Spaces
Are you aware of any water leakage, accumulation or dampness within the
basement or crawl spaces or any other areas within any of structure on the
property?
SELLER 打了勾，我以为是漏水去询问，她加的解释
At one time slight dampness observed due to humidity，No leakage ever
observed.
后来跟AGENT沟通， 对方LISTING AGENT 是新手，Seller 估计比较诚实

一次买房没经验，特来这请教。看来问题不大。 |

coefficient,比如0.5. 我看manual上有很多种方式,有material damping 也可以加
dashpot, 还有什么viscous damping.

的。摸上去有点湿湿的，上面的漆也冒了小泡。那一块的drywall好像比其他地方的也
湿，也软一点。窗帘架也掉了下来。
请问问题严重么？该找什么人来修呀？大概多少价为？在费城附近 |

这个是本世纪初Delphi的磁变阻减振在Corvette上首次使用后才有了大幅度的提高
现在比较流行的damping control系统，很多都是Delphi提供的
比如599 GTB、Audi TT之类的

我试着解释下：damping设置理论上应该保证最佳的车轮贴地性，车轮吃坑/bump后应该
要最快的回到原位但是不能弹跳（under damped)。如果over damped车轮归位的时间会
变久。两种情况都会导致抓地力的损失。
但是同时也可以调节damping来控制瞬态的weight transfer来改善车子的操控性。比如
说spring/rollbar设成静态的understeer,但是通过调节damping来提供瞬态的neutral/
oversteer来改善turn in. 这样调出来的damping rate和提供最佳车轮贴地性的
damping rate往往就不相等，那个时候就要在两个之间作取舍了。

“看了一下王的文章，感觉他对于探测器一点都不了解。1.ams02是磁谱仪，当然比身
为量能器的dampe贵很多.2 Fermi是优化来探测伽马射线的，具体的就是探测器很薄，
对于高能粒子的探测没有dampe可靠，用fermi TeV的结果来质疑dampe没有什么说服力
。3dampe不是磁谱仪，不能简单的区分正负电子，不存在隐藏信号这种说法（这个说法
太坏了）。当然将来也是可能区分正负电子的，不过要用到地球的磁场，fermi就是这
样做的，这这种方法的系统误差非常不好控制，fermi的正电子谱才是"大家都不太相信

前驱对前悬形式敏感，同理后驱对后悬挂形式敏感。
双叉臂对camber角度控制能力比strut强，一个是四边形，一个是三角形。
悬挂调教内容多了，弹簧硬度，弹簧预载、compression damping、rebound damping，
有的damping调节还分low speed、high speed，可以单独调节。然后悬挂几何方面：
camber、toe、caster。最后还有sway bar。 |

我觉着，瓜好不好，就是两个参数。一个是震动频率，一个是震动衰减率（damping
rate）。振动频率取决于瓜的stiffness，肉瓜的振动频率偏低，脆瓜的振动频率较高
。震动衰减取决于瓜瓤的紧凑程度，过火的瓜通常瓜瓤松弛，震动很快停止。
理想情况下，比较好的瓜是振荡频率高，时间长。
但主要的困难在于，高频震荡的衰减比较大，因为瓜瓤组织之间的相对位移较大，
elastic damping比较大。相比较而言，肉瓜的衰减时间经常比较长，有时候会感觉比
较“弹手”。在振动频率和衰减时间上的取舍，需要慢慢培养经验。
再一个，由于瓜不是一个同质体，分瓜皮和瓜瓤，而瓜皮远硬于瓜瓤，因此皮厚的瓜振
动频率也会高些。
以上的分析有一个很大的简化，就是认为瓜得震动是单一频率的，或者说是简谐的。实
际上，在外力初始冲击下，还会有很多高频谐波被激发，最终形成了独特的“手感”（
类似乐器的音色）。

物理界在1880年代就提出暗物质的猜测。一开始是因为银河系外围恒星的切向飞行速度
太快，银河系核心被观测到的质量远远不足以提供所需的向心力。后来在20世纪发现同
样的问题也出现在更大的尺度上，星系团（Galaxy Cluster）和超星系团（
Supercluster） 外围成员的切向飞行速度也是数倍于核心重力能维持的范围。如此一
来，只有两个逻辑可能，第一是每个星系（Galaxy）都有大量不参加强作用力（否则会
与原子核有反应）和电磁力（否则会与电子和质子有反应）的暗物质；第二，是广义相
对论的重力方程式在星系以上的尺度必须有新修正项。
近年来，用各种间接手段观测到的暗物质重力效应越来越多，要靠修改重力方程式来满
足所有的观测结果也越来越难自圆其说，所以暗物质就成为天文物理界的主流理论。

MB官网宣称“firms up during stronger body motions for sharper handling

看上去车子是可以自动探测目前行驶状态，主动地去调节减震器的阻尼，就像是active
damper或者adaptive suspension。实际上并不是的。MB所谓的有Agility Control的
车子，其实悬挂系统就跟别的独立悬挂系统的车子一样，是最最普通的前轮麦佛逊，后
轮多连杆悬挂系统，没有任何电子控制系统参与或者调节。简单些说，MB的C/E class
等号称是“Agility Control”的悬挂，其实跟Hyundai Sonata等买菜车的悬挂是一模

个小时的说明书，对这个zoning system的工作原理有了个基本了解。
每个system一般可以有2-4个zone，比如偶家里一楼的system有3个zone，二楼是另一个
独立的HVAC system，有两个zone。每个zone被一个themostat控制，可以控制多个
damper，每个damper可以控制一个或多个出风口。zoning对damper的开启或者关闭是通
过电控或者气控（吸气或吹气）。当damper关闭的时候，出风口可以感觉到热气，但是
没有热风。
如果偶是你，偶就去找找其它的thermostat，至少还有一个，这个可能控制着好几个房
间（好几个damping）。找到后打开试试。如果还是没有热气，就要找原因了。有可能
是damping出了问题。对了，为了提高效率，你可以试着把回气口的几个出风口关起来
（有的系统没有）。 |

1.MASS - 在音源和你之间放质量大的障碍物，比方说砖墙DRYWALL之类的重物
2.DAMPEN - 在音源和你之间放能够衰减声波震动的东东
3.DECOUPLE - 把声波传播经过的紧贴两层东东适度隔开，减少共振
4.ABSORPT - 在室内贴吸音材料，防止声波在室内二次反射
所有的隔音工程采用的手段无外乎以上四种，而以上四种手段对于不同的声音传播和隔
音需要又各有千秋，所以具体施工过程中要知道如何灵活运用。
你家楼上走路的脚步声和说话声是两种不同的声音传播，前者是直接踩在地板上引起震
动，后者是声音在空气中钻过楼板之间的空隙传播。所以各自的隔音手法也不同。前者
要用decouple来处理，如果二楼铺的是木地板，搞不好铺地板时候没铺underlayment，
这个你最好要先检查一下。还有就是楼层之间的drywall，最好能拆开现有drywall
sheet,在JOIST上加装noiseproofing clips，这样一来，楼上有人走路造成的震动不会
轻易传动到楼下的天花板上，实现decoupling.

看上一个房子，别的都还满意，但是好像下大雨地下室有一边会潮？见下文。不知道是
不是个严重问题，会影响地基啥的么？这个好修么（比如换个gutter不行么？）要不要
walk away呢？
我们问的是房子在不在flood zone，以及地下室进没进过水。卖方的信息如下.
