If you can see a result line light or dark, you are pregnant. If the result
line does not get darker over a couple of days, it's probably not a bad idea
to check with a dr to rule out the possibilities of miscarriage or ectopic

bright red reflex,说我家宝宝有red reflex,但有些darker,不是特别bright。不过医
生说可能是因为是亚洲宝宝，眼球颜色和西方宝宝不同，比较dark，不过还是约了两周
后再检查。
心里很着急，想问问版上的姐妹们有没有了解或遇到过类似情况的。
另： 宝宝两个月了，会看妈妈的脸，但给她看东西，她好像不怎么看，我移动玩具，
她的眼睛也不跟着移动，而是去看别的方向了。之前一直觉得是正常的，可能晚些就会

or within a couple of months after birth. So the spot might have just
showed up recently and that is why you didn't notice it earlier.
It is a totally harmless patch and need no medical attention at all by
itself. It won't go away but might get lighter or darker depends on how much
sunshine your baby get. About 10% normal and healthy babies have one or two

阴天 + 下雨. No photoshop yet. To get better depth of field, I used ISO 1600 in darker photos which produced some noise. Try hard to get pictures of rain drops falling but failed. Guess I would need a 200mm+ or macro lens to do it? |

Apparently there is a big difference between Sunscreen and Sunblock. The
main difference is: sunscreen only protects against UVA and UVB, it does not
however, block out all the damaging effects of the sun and it needs to be
reapplied every two or three hours. Where sunblock, keeps out almost all of
the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays, and it does not need to be reapplied
as often. It also prevents you from getting darker, as in my sons case.

关于娃不喜欢 Harry Potter，以及加强 fiction reading 的问题。
我觉得首先的一点是，让娃成为娃自己。每个娃都是不同的，如果娃不喜欢
Harry Potter，要允许娃不喜欢。
第二，父母不一定要把娃的书都看一遍。但可以有重点的选看，或者查评论
“literacy criticism” 也行。。。虽然对 reader 而言，不看书而去看
“literacy criticism” 是一件很脑残的事。。。但父母得记住自己的定位
是 “技战术教练” ，而不是一个 reader。
第三，具体到 Harry Potter，Harry Potter 的确有很多好处，比如
promote literacy reading / wild imagination / poetic but readable
等等。。。但是也有很多 factor 可能让你家娃不喜欢（即使大多数娃喜欢）。。。

After timberline the clouds started gathering above our head. Soon enough the
whole sky was covered by the clouds. As the clouds got thicker and darker,
we began to worry about the possible danger of being caught by lighting and
thunderstorm. It is always dangerous to stay above timberline in a
thunderstorm as one may be easily struck by the lighting at an area with
nowhere to hide.
