According to New York Times technology columnist David Pogue, Apple still
believes in desktop Macs, including both the iMac and the Mac Pro.
The Mac Pro in particular has raised the ire of some Apple fans because it
has been several years since the last update, and the update today was
extremely minor.

de novo design，他是#1。他的报告让我印象最深的有两点：
1. de novo design - 他有一个protein scafolds的数据库，里面的scafolds都已经通
过实验证明是可以表达，而且与预测结构相符合的。然后分析target reactions的
transition stages，提出可能的catalytic residues和binding residues及其空间分
布，然后就从数据库里调scafolds，找到能够维持催化和底物结合构象的scafolds，一
般有好几十个candidates，然后就是实验验证了（基因合成，蛋白表达和活性测定）。
一般能够得到Kcat/Km=1E4-1E5的artificial catalysts，这就差不多是catalytic
antibodies的水平了，当然离天然酶还挺远（1E8 - 1E12），但可以以此为模板做

问题由来；
有2组microarray 数据（control/patients）分析得出200个显著差异表达的genes(
gene list),把这个gene list 输入DAVID， 希望得到这200个基因的相关性， 比如得
到某个信号通路被放大，或者某个生物功能（migration，division）被改变，以便进
行后续wet分析， 请问应该采用上述那个分析方法？

我今天去匹大看考场了，lsat考试，12月11号的。地址在 DAVID LAWRENCE HALL，3942
FORBES AVE。
发现那里好像只有2个“auditorium”样子的大厅，像阶梯教室那种的，适合做考场。
但那里只有一排排的椅子，每个带了一小块可以折叠的写字板，没有桌子；也就是不是
正常的桌子和椅子。。。
郁闷中，不知道有没有人在这里考过Lsat或者别的考试？是在那里面考试吗？必须忍受
这样的考试条件？是否影响考试呢？
望了解情况的好心人答复，我好早做准备，找那样的椅子来练习题目了。 |

与神奇。我最喜欢的一集，Mastery of Flight，我最少已经看了五六遍了还没有厌倦
。这一套纪录片10集在BBC的youtube频道上都可以完整地观看。对鸟类有兴趣的同学可
