当初我买macbook一个很重要的原因就是想看看java是如何在macosx上运作的
现在我用macosx开发程序，用ubuntu跑实例，用windows测试
是吧，既然选择了java，那什么你都要会一点，无论是db还是os
db我用过firebird, mysql, oracle, mssqlserver
一直遗憾少db2的经验
os我用过linux, windows, macosx, aix
ide我用过eclipse, idea, jbuilder, jcreator
browser我搞过ie, firefox, safari, chrome
以前我还可以说jvm我用过什么jrocket之类的，现在都统一了，也好，不吹了
这才叫写java的是吧，什么东西都要求你会一点，这一行今天eclipse明天idea
今天mysql明天oracle的变化不要太多，经历多了，自然就会对java很多东西有感同身受
比如为什么要用java，为什么要用hibernate |

ibm几大块，research center应该还是挺好的，不过不能跟20年前的比了。
平台硬件部stg还行，具体了解不多，不过现在CEO是平台部出身的。
软件部比咨询部起薪高一些。几个产品线基本包含了所有商务应用了。ibm主要搞中间
件啦（websphere系列），软件工程管理（rational系列），db2系列，还有lotus系列
（办公软件）。中间件好像还不错，数据库比oracle占有率差应该。rational系列用的
还是挺多的。lotus情况不明。主要偏向大型企业吧。价格略高，小企业用不起。好像
没什么很了不起的新技术，都挺传统的。
全球服务分gbs和gts，一个做商务咨询(偏it)，一个平台技术服务，比如帮你假服务器
或者中间件。里面都号称顾问。算是现在ibm的核心业务，其他软件硬件很多都是靠服
务部出货的。适合信管的人去。国内IBM咨询是SAP部门最强力，这里不明。出差牛多，
我的情况是90%出差。多混几年技术会废（你也可以看到用vb6做项目的team），但是可

db2，websphere之类的，尤其是websphere，是多伦多ibm做的
后来听说ibm要把不跟客户打交道的岗位全部移出美帝

nosql起来后会好点
但是说靠做db发家致富的，象以前oracle,mysql那样
这十年来已经绝迹了
没办法，开源一出，做这一行的就都没有利润了
db现在也就是oracle还能赚钱
m$靠着其他优势还能收点fee
ibm的db2已经不收费了
gflat没听说做过db
可能做了几个nosql，但是都是不收钱的
很快就贡献给了开源社区，cassandra之类的
都没有什么利润可言 |

倒是m$在国内，p都不是，连个像样的分公司都没有
除了r&d，其他城市都是办事处
垃圾，也就是卖点windows，现在win8强行往cloud上捆绑
导致习总开始彻查m$，m$麻烦大了
ibm倒是在华北，华南，华东，西部这些都有像样的分公司
国内公司说去ioe化，i就是ibm
老美像样的web公司，在china做得稍微有点样子的
就是amazon，这个在宁夏建数据中心，淘宝腾讯的cloud都比不过
其他web公司都不行，美帝公司不如本土的
但是ibm美国，又是另外一回事了
一直有说法说ibm的技术类人才，已经全部搬出美国了
甚至不如北美国的ibm，websphere,db2这些都是北美国ibm做的
不知道现在情况是否有所改变 |

ibm的东西啥都做，各种config自然很烦
因为你不需要那么多东西，当你需要的时候
文档又不多，各种支持都要钱去买，软件公司就靠这些吃饭的
所以很烦，所以国内去ioe也不那么容易

一场波及全国的宕机风波
6月23日上午，中国工商银行在全国多地的柜台、ATM、网银业务出现故障，用户报
告无法正常使用。故障持续至少近1个小时，波及北京、上海、广州、武汉、哈尔滨等
多个城市。
就此事件，工行的公开解释是由于“计算机系统升级原因造成业务办理缓慢”。
上周有媒体曝出一封发自工行信息科技部的内部通报，则将事件原因归咎于IT系统
供应者IBM。IBM内部人士徐向青(化名)向《IT时报》记者确认，这的确是IBM的问题，
DB2(IBM数据库平台)在测试环境下是没有问题的，但不知何故出现了错误，可能是由于
当天交易量过大，CPU超载发生故障。徐向青表示IBM之前也出现过类似情况。
另外有人质疑，出了故障为何不及时切换容灾备份系统？IT顾问accc分析称，这是
一个很常见的误解，银行容灾系统不会轻易启用整体切换，因为切换的成本非常高，非
极端情况(比如地震、机房着火等)不会进行切换。

Sybase,DB2到Oracle的移植也做过，生在那个年代没办法，所以现在硬伤比较多，需要
立即就得学，从C,VB,ASP....一直到Java,C#.NET,Ruby...... 除了数据库相关的，基
本就是Web了，大都是为其它公司啦银行啦什么的开发的系统，还有一些网站，自己公
司的一些产品，也大都是Web，只有这样的时候才能自己选择喜欢的东西。编程语言都
是共同的，一个会了其它就是查Doc了。但就像swjtuer说的，不再像一张白纸了。有太
多的经验，有时候很好，比如公司经常好几天搞不定一个系统的问题，你可能马上就能
指出来在哪里，知道有哪些Trap，怎样开发，怎样管理，怎样协作...... 但太多的经
验也有坏处，比如现在用.NET开发，没有IDE已经不能工作了，因为太多Java习惯了，
连大小写都分不清，C/Java/.NET，都有几年开发经验的时候就知道了，呵呵。 |
