Again, you are arguing with yourself here. Some matters should be decided by
majoritarian principles, others should not. I never argued that majority
decides everything, so arguing against this is pointless. You should argue
with me on why gay marriage should not be decided by majoritarian principles
. What's the compelling interest in overriding the majority here? It does
not rise to being robbed and killed, so let's put that stupid argument away.

The California Supreme Court decided Thursday that the sponsors of
Proposition 8 and other ballot measures are entitled to defend them in court
when the state refuses to do so, a ruling likely to spur federal courts to
decide the constitutionality of same-sex marriage bans.
The state high court’s decision, a defeat for gay rights groups, sets the
stage for a federal ruling -- which could go all the way to the U.S. Supreme
Court -- that would affect marriage bans outside California.

Q. What if the Supreme Court upholds Proposition 8?
A. This would leave gay Californians without the right to marry in the state

that there is no constitutional problem in limiting marriage to a man and a

Such an outcome probably would trigger a political campaign in California to

The state supreme court in Connecticut has just decided that the death
penalty is a violation of the state constitution and has put an end to the
state’s death row sparing the lives of 11 inmates sentenced to die, reports
say.
In a close 4-3 vote the court decided that the death penalty was illegal and
that decision allowed all inmates sentenced to death before recent
legislation ending the death penalty to escape their sentence.
Connecticut Supreme Court Justice Richard Palmer wrote for the... 阅读全帖

左逼们对Marine施加压力要他们降低标准.
A IOC diploma is a must to earn the designation of infantry officer. Of 29
women who tried, none graduated; only four made it through the first day’s
combat endurance test.
Corps public affairs said it did not have the data on which tasks proved the
toughest for women. But one particularly demanding upper-body strength test
is climbing a 25-foot rope with a backpack full of gear. A candidate who

Why Voting for Donald Trump Is a Morally Good Choice
Wayne Grudem
Some of my Christian friends tell me they can’t in good conscience vote for
Donald Trump because, when faced with a choice between “the lesser of two
evils,” the morally right thing is to choose neither one. They recommend
voting for a third-party or write-in candidate.
As a professor who has taught Christian ethics for 39 years, I think their
analysis is incorrect. Now that Trump has won the GOP nomination, I think
voting for Tru... 阅读全帖

Hillary Clinton Campaign Systematically Overcharging Poorest Donors
Hillary for America processed a total of $94 in unauthorized charges to
Carol Mahre's US Bank account. This follows a pattern in which unwitting
donors are charged multiple times, but always for a total of less than $100,
which is a key trigger point for banks'internal action systems. Photo:

To our best knowledge, using Hillary's Speech Archive on her website, of
the 397 speeches she gave from January to July this year, only 1 was
to Asian Americans -- a 30 minute speech to the group 'AAPI for Hillary'
in San Gabriel, CA. We are 4.6% of the voters, we only got 0.25% of her
time. Indeed, it was to a group that has already endorse her. Don't let
her
belittle us. Many voters sense that she has a sense of entitledment.
Donald Trump? Probably worse.
So hold on to your vote. Let 80... 阅读全帖
