A run-flat tire is a pneumatic vehicle tire that is designed to resist the
effects of deflation when punctured, and to enable the vehicle to continue
to be driven at reduced speeds (up to 55 mph (90 km/h)), and for limited
distances of up to 100 mi (160 km), or even 200 mi (320 km) depending on the

colder tires are less "sticky" and should result in less friction, unless
slippage occurs.
But if the tire pressure is not adjusted, colder temp will cause slight

First is that USD is the only international reserve currency.
Second is that this crisis is deeply worldwide.
I think these difference will make US succeed in fighting deflation
or maybe I should say fail in a different way.
We have to talk a little about why JPY is even much stronger than USD

The lesson from last year is nobody is really insightful (or they don't want

your second scenario can have a modified version:
deflation stops --> nominal market comes back (real market continues to

your event chain has several errors.
You mixed up the cause and results. Usually the economy turning bad is the
cause, and house price drop is the result. The recent subprime crisis and
the resulting bad economy is not normal. It was built on "debt-based

"high unemployment" does not necessarily lead to deflation. It may be
