我学宏观经济的，对历史了解不多，瞎说两句。
1.明朝和宋朝财政状况相比，使用粮食作为基本单位比较好，不用粮价，直接用多少多少石。
白银是货币，不是货物，相当于现在的货币，虽然比现在的纸币更能保值，
但是和纸币一样面临通货膨胀的问题。现代的经济有价值指数（GDP DEFLATORS），就是把一货币为单位的产出换算成以一篮子实物为单位的产出。如果用白银，也需要建一个各年的价格指数，比较不现实。宋明不像现代社会，粮食应该是主要的产出和主要的货物，那么就用粮食作为单位好了，
正好避开了通货膨涨的问题。
2.财政好不好，不能仅看盈余，还要看政府做了多少事。为经济发展花的钱多，今年赤
字，但过两年经济增长（粮食增收），可能就从税收赚回来了。现代的国家通常有财政
赤字，只要财政收入能发新债还旧债，就差不多可以维持下去。明宋不发国债，避免赤
字比较保险，但是没必要一昧追求盈余。 |
