1. SW might bring more headaches than HW during the transition period from
v4 to v6. if there's no killer app, it's ok. if the transition kills app, it

assign them to only some http adaptors, but not other. Maybe virtualhost,

rebuild. There's a commercial JavaRebel JVM plugin that needs no
restart in most situations. The java hot deployment is weak, you can
make changes inside method without restart, that's it. With JavaRebel
you can add class, function, etc., it supports spring as well, so
everything is hot, and state is kept between your changes. |

translate to scripts (and from script to Asgard), so when building a new
environment (or recovering from disaster) we don't have to do it from
scratch again?
Another question, can Asgard be used to create dynamodb, cloudsearch? or we
need to use template/cli to do that?
Our app is somewhat complex, about 30 individual services, each in its own
ASG - but probably not nearly as complex as Netflix?

for our services now. By then Teletraan will certainly support Container
and Docker.
There is no silver bullet. Deploying code instead of container image works
for many cases and even works better in some cases. Teletraan could be very
useful today for companies/folks with similar setup as us. As it is open
sourced, it is just a matter of time when container support will be added. |
