半导体芯片现在主要两部分，一块工作，包括fab，材料，制造，还有类似mems这一种
的，这一行大多是phd，我的建议是，如果你还在学这个，趁早，刷题转码。
另一部分是芯片设计，也分很多，重点说一下这部分。VLSI里有人做架构，写rtl的，
verification，做IP的，dft，PD， silicon bring up，cad。这一行现在确实比较夕
阳，夕阳并不是说会消失，只是会变成传统行业，变得趋于稳定，不像以前需要大批的
人了，做的公司也就那么多，工作机会也就那么多。如果现在phd刚毕业，我觉得入这
一行还是可以的，有一些年头可以做，你问我具体多少年我肯定不知道，但是做个八年
十年应该没问题。而且VLSI这一行，经验最值钱，知识面最值钱，vlsi的phd在学校大
概都摸过一些，如果在业界把我上面列的各项都做一做，做到chip lead，能干的时间
更长，钱更多。这一行的平均年纪普遍偏老，我们组十几个人，我phd+5年，是年纪最
小的。
但是，如果是ms刚毕业，在现在这个时间点上入行，基本都是被卡在一个位置上当苦工

超导实验物理方向: 长晶体(烧炉子),STM,一点nano-device类的经验
理论方面(业余选手): 做过一些DFT计算的工作, 简单Green's function 计算
文章数没到双位数,质量不算差,但也没有突出的nature science系列.
本人对很多分析思考的项目都会有兴趣. 加拿大这个地方"小", 听到的事迹很少. 想问
问转行,正在转行的,打算转行的,听说过转行的大家,都有什么样的经验.哪些行业暂时
来说比较好,对于物理PhD比较容易转

2. 薄后去牛校，国家实验室或者好的公司实验室在找教职的时候哪个最好呢？
我gf的research主要是做输入文件，run现成的package（dft）， 分析数据； 老板人
脉非常一般 文章一般；我觉得她应该同时学习并行计算，毕业前写出自己的package，
尽早开始找薄后 最好是可以申请一些好的summer intern的机会
