My OB'S advice: if the diarrhea can go away within two days, you do not need
to take anything. Watch closly, make sure things do not get worse. It is
very very common for pregnant women to have diarrhea.
you can also try over the counter medicine. If it does not work, you need to
call OB right away. serious diarrhea may cause miscarriage.

，不是全切。因为一直出血的原因，术后在医院住了25天左右。
回家后当时一直还有少量见血，大便次数2-3次/天。 近期打电话才知，她每天经受频
繁的腹泻，每天上近17-18次洗手间。 几乎没法外出和休息。
网上查了一下，好像很多大肠切成后的病人都有Diarrhea的后遗症。而且有的伴随终身。
请问她这个情况，该如何改善Diarrhea的困扰？ 我这里能买到一些药帮到她吗？谢谢。 |

was away for 2 days and back, not sure that would do anything. he tend to
have sensitive stomach, and i did add a couple new flavors of wet food in
the last couple weeks. I couldn't pinpoint a cause of the diarrhea.. |

they were raised on a mixture of wet food, not picky eaters, no chronic
diarrhea although poo could be loose at times.
Fed only weruva chicken since sunday.
Haven't gone to the vet, but may have to soon. Usually not a big fan of docs
and meds, try to observe closely and use home remedies but this is not
going well. |

Majority consistent to GI loss (malnutrition/malabsorption)
Edema is due to hypoalbumin and low protein. Originally lower extremity edema was thought to be due to systemic involvement. But when I saw "4+ pitting edema up to low back" on PE on day 2, I knew it could be due to low protein level. I appreciate the good PE you did. :)
Hypokalemia is most likely due to GI loss too.

type of bacteria found in your bowel. In fact, many people can get
diarrhea with antibiotics.
Actually, antibiotics is rarely indicated in diarrhea, except certain
specific bacterial infection. Our bowel is filled with bacteria, and only
a few bacteria may out-compete normal flora and cause diarrhea. It is not

(e) The active ingredient of Fibercon is Calcium polycarbophil. It is
indicated for constipation as well as diarrhea. Its water absorbing
properties make it useful in treatment of diarrhea. It should be taken with
plenty of water.
Just like rainflower, I initially thought the answer was D too, because I've
never seen fibercon used to treat diarrhea, but surprisingly diarrhea is an
indication of fibercon. |

Take care of yourself, diarrhea can be life threatening too. Who knows, it
might increase the chance of heart attack before you reach 65. Even someone

I agree with you that antibiotics is often not needed for diarrhea. It is a
old practice to give patients antibiotics when they present with diarrhea.
Actually fluoquinolone is extremely widely used for diarrhea in China. 诺
氟沙星 is a common medicine in the family drug box.
However, I don't think you should sue your doctor, simply because you don't
have a chance. This is not a case of doctor negligence, but rather a rare
case of adverse effect.

i finished the ramen noodle, paid 16 bucks, and walked out. I walked a
block, and suddenly i feel the onset of a diarrhea. the fucking noodle made
me want to poo soo fucking bad! i rushed back to work, ran straight to the
bathroom, and sat on the toilet, and pooed and pooed and pooed... on and off
for another 30 minutes.
