我一年多前招了一个Direct Report。其实面试时就不是很满意。但又没有更合适的人
选再加上又是本公司的同事强力推荐的，所以就招来了。
结果来了不到一个月就发现她有些偷懒。我委婉的指出后，她就发飙了，说她已经很努
力了。。。第二天又跑到我的老板处说我的不是。后来慢慢平息了。
去年一年相安无事，表现还可以。昨天我跟她进行了2013年Review。我先肯定了她过去
一年的工作，然后指出哪些地方需要改进（比如提高数据的质量等等）。结果她当面没
提异议。会后就去找大老板（我老板的老板）（她去年的一个结果很受大老板赏识）说
她给我数据我不给她feedback（这完全是谎言），从我身上学不到什么，想要参与另一
个组的项目。大老板已经同意她PartTime做另一个组的项目了。

9月22日，我们举办了当地华人的中秋晚会，CRYSTAL表演了ONE THING。我家LD的录影
技术是大家有目共睹的，就凑合看看吧。大家多多提意见就好。

include mine.h，MINE这个宏就被视作定义了。日后我comment掉mine.h中的#define
MINE 0这一句，其他文件中也会有相应的改变。
但是好像C#的pre-processing directives做不到这一点。。。因为放在一个工程里，
都不用显式地include一个文件，就可以用写在那个文件中的类。而且，貌似pre-
prepocessing directives只在本文件scope之内。如果我class1.cs和class2.cs都有
#ifdef MINE
....
#else
....
#endif
之类的条件编译。那我每次要换一种编译，都得同时到两个文件中comment或uncomment
掉#define MINE这一句。如果是N个文件呢？麻烦得要死。。。

then used gzip:
gzip Myproject.tar
to generate .gz file.
But, the intermediate myproject.tar is too big, like 400GB.
I want to know how I can compress the directory directly.
Because the file is very huge, I doubt if tar pipe gzip works.
I saw there is tar -z can compress directly when we tar it. But my ksh does
not have this -z option. |

At the same time, direct programming from ES/iPS cells to somatic cells are
few. And I was not be able to find any publications. So was wondering if
someone can help me with some papers about direct programming from ES/iPS
cells to somatic cells with TFs, not stepwise extracellular signals.

test is ">" for disease, R gave me the same curve as I got from Origin. When
the criterion is "<" for disease, the peak of the curve is opposite to the
one Origin created, that means the AUC < 0.5. The Origin curve is correct,
