上次非常严重，十几天疤才脱落。
这次不怎么厉害，但鉴于已经发生过一次了，我是特别地愤怒。今天早上就全家一起去
找director了，中午也给他打了电话。
上午我还能勉强控制自己的脾气，到中午打电话时，我提出孩子们必须分开睡，两个男
孩不能和我女儿呆在一个教室里。结果director建议把我女儿单独睡，我说不是她的错
，为什么把她和别的小朋友分开？接着他说在做任何punishment这前，他必须通知对方
的家长。我说你也知道单独睡是punishment，为什么一开始提出让我女儿单独睡？你不
惩罚有bad behavior孩子？
已经决定要换学校了。 |

这个男孩子不是只欺负我女儿，据我女儿说他欺负所有的人，不管男女。曾经在玩得地
方碰到一个同班同学，是男生，长得块头也大，他的父亲也提到他被同一个男孩子天天
bother。后来一问，才知道是这个boy。
正如director所说，他说的是或者没欺负别人，或者欺负了，但是家长没看到，没有报
告给老师，学生也没有报告给老师。
我曾经问过我女儿为什么不报告老师，她说：I don't want my teacher to be upset.
她是一个sweet的孩子，和别的同学都相处得好，平常我们家长间也互相通气。
我说别人打了你，你一定要打回去，才不会继续受伤。她告诉我老师说在教室里只能走
，不能跑，她就只走，和我说boy抓了她以后就跑走了，而她不能跑，所以追不上。今
天早上才低头说她不敢还回去。
他们原来在小班是同一个班，发生以后，全体老师开了会，我也不知道后来怎么样，这
也是我需要改进的地方。
现在他们在一层楼，不是一个班，但午睡因为假期人少，在一起。我前一个星期知道了

发帖数: 865 | 3 我建议哈，你先别急着找学校谈，先找律师，律师会告诉你如果情况
变复杂的话，你需要收集什么样的书面证据，还有什么话能说，什么
话不能说，这样就不怕学校反口不认，或者倒打一耙了。
我的感觉，今后的交谈最好不要口头，都书面或电子邮件，还有两次
的accident report都要拿到，如果director有不当言论或者处
理建议不公的话，最好都想办法留下书面证据。（其实第一次严重的
时候应该马上去医院验伤的）。这样接下来主动权就在你手里了，可
以根据自己的时间精力斟酌着办。要我说，该报警，如果不报警，至
少也要把这些证据告诉学校里其他同学的家长，让他们提高警惕。连
“为什么光欺负你孩子”这种话都说得出来，这什么东西，如果是我，
绝对和他拼了。
还有一点我特别同意大家的，就是这学校绝对不能再呆了。倒不是因
为有个淘气（或者mean)的小男孩，而是学校根本不认真保护孩子。
比如director的处理方法是让LZ的女儿单独睡，那个男孩还和大家一
起午睡，那如果他去祸害其他小朋友呢？这个绝对是失职，我如果是
班里其他小朋友的家长一定不会认同这样的处理方法。 |

太区的GM，VP还大多是新加坡，东南亚，港台的，而大陆的少，但rev主要是内地贡献
的，你说为什么？但是现在开始，情况有些好转了。主要是中国市场太重要了。
大公司director开始，再往上升一般要提名后，commitee几个member审评。不是你老板
想提你，就能提你的。
还有一个原因，就是老印们的把持和任人唯亲。人家来的早，上面人多。 |

有个大学同学，现在没法比了，这家伙在湾区科技公司做了3年后去了沃顿读mba，马上要回国做投资了，底薪是我两年的薪水，bonus据说是2-3倍薪水。我今年29了，也工作了5年了，虽说有房有车，但是在湾区感觉很压抑，很不爽。
我觉得自己还算可以，今年29，大公司里做director，base有个16w，option和股票一年也就不到2w，bonus最好也只有30%，这个哥们儿在一家外资pe做，实力是有的，但是同学之间也没有那么大差别。 |

也不是很qualify，但想试一试，至少和他非正式的谈谈。请问，如何开场呢？隔壁用
的一个重要系统我不熟，但基础的技术（unix, glassfish, oracle,java）我都有经验
。如何说服他我qualify呢？最重要的是如何开场？假设我现在去了他的办公室。非常
感谢各位！
补充一点：负责支持那个系统的两个人（包括前Manager）都走了，我们公司内部没人
了解那个系统。我自我感觉是矮子里面的将军。 |

现在之前phd做项目的start up招director，虽说我达不到要求的工作年限，但因为之
前phd的工作，即使给不到director level，manager level也可以。问题是这start up
还在摸索技术，目前没有成功商业化的技术，所以即使是management的职位，也会需要
做lab work的。
现在不知是要求现在公司给帮忙解决身份（H1b或者o1），还是跳到之前合作的start
up (title 较高，薪资未知）。求建议！ |

一直觉得这个director的处理态度有问题，但凡有事，总是把大事说成没有事的，把责
任推到小孩身上，而且连一个sorry都没有，的确让人觉的不可理喻没有爱心和同情心
。支持楼主要个说法。不过对school office影响最大的和直接有管理权的是那个
church board. 看能不能reach out to the board member and let them be aware of
what happened. The board addressed this kind of issues more seriously than
that director。 board说话和决定是最有用的。
那个推到和订伤你家小朋友的孩子，真的是bully了。 出了这样的事，校方真的应该通
知那个孩子的家长，好好教育一下。你们是不是可以自己看能否找到或联系上那个孩子
家长，不相信那个家人听说发生这样的事后，会觉得自己的孩子没有过错。 老师行为
向另一个网友分析的很多，事后处理不当，没有及时讲清楚事情，否则你们一开始去检

小的公司，人家主动挖他去的，提成Associate Director好像也就20万左右（可能还不
到）。 大公司也就20万左右
药厂和IT行业的工资/股票差远了。

under Lead. MS is very hard, if not impossible to make itself agile. When a
GM has only 2 dev manager, why would he need a director to manage those 2
manager and has only one direct report + the secretary,oh wait, architect
and other a bunch of high level PMs. If you go through the tree, the funny
part is that people that contribute code count less than 20% of the
headcounts in that org. |

今晚的HOA Director 选举揭晓，现任Director Glen Gesoff以203票获得连任，我以
125票惜败。在Glen所得的203票当中，有168票是由HOA董事会投的Proxy票，剩下的35
票是Individual 房主投的；相反，我得的125票全是Individual房主投的。
我非常感谢大家在短短的两周时间内组织起来，支持我的选举！今天我的得票结果，远
远超过我们事先最乐观的估计。这都是大家的功劳，大家的努力，大家的成果。今晚选

plane in the US because he was too big for the seats.
The 39-year-old claims a pilot ejected him from the Southwest Airlines
flight from Oakland to Burbank, California, saying he did not fit in a
single seat.
Smith complained about the incident on his Twitter account saying:
"I'm way fat, but I'm not there just yet."
Southwest issued an apology to the director via Twitter and its
website.

As noted by AllThingsD, former Apple senior vice president of Mac Software
Engineering Bertrand Serlet has joined the board of directors at software
virtualization company Parallels. Serlet left Apple in March 2011 and was
