其实过去的美国政客们都是get hands dirty的。因为如果你不给自己后面的金主们带
来利益，你就拿不到钱来选举。如果你不听党的话，你就没法到那些powerful的委员会
里任职，给你的金主捞钱。而且被选下去，或退休后，不和党保持一致，没有人脉，就
很难到DC做说客捞钱。另外当年的earmark什么的都是用来买票的。这就是为什么，议
员们当选前都要change DC.到了DC,就是DC change他们了。
只是2010年以后，共和党的初选把这一切都改变了。初选里极右来挑战，使得议员们不
敢再get hands dirty了。当senator Lugar,senator Bennett初选被击败后，那个刺激
力度是很大的。特别是lugar的败选，在过去是无法想象的。

大紧在加州，能不怎么喜欢killary我都已经挺惊奇了。

第一点和我一样。我对08非常不感兴趣，从第一眼看到他开始。
每次就会喊change，然而问要change什么怎么change，也没什么实质内容。
当然了，选08的人也是求仁得仁，
不能说美国没有被change，只不过人家08也没承诺要change到更好的方向。
只是连累了其他本来就不看好他的人。
第二点，看白宫晚宴对trump极尽挖苦之能事，就知道08也挺dirty的，连表面彬彬有礼
都装不下去。小人得志就猖狂。
幸好遇到的是trump。5年就完成了一个其他人无法实现的报复。

serp belt cracking：如果确实需要换，自己搞吧，双人DIY很快的，单人也不会太慢。
cabin air filter dirty： 这个很好拆，自己打开决定换不换
air filter dirty：同上，可以在advanceautoparts等地方买
60K service no history：没啥意思，不用理
p/s flush no history：这个也不难，找个吸管在查液面的地方吸出来再加满，开上几
次后再换一下。多换几次就行了
brake flush no history：做了当然好

今天去honda dealer那检查了一下，结果那是吓死人了，很多东西都坏了，然后很多东
西都需要修理。
最后他们给我列了一下，说最紧急的3个是：
1.replace timing belt package:

DEALER第二天又打电话来说要赶紧做，车子开着才保险。这里的大神能指教下这些维护
有必要做吗？如果做得话，价格合理吗？
2011 camry, 买的时候是新车，只有12,000 miles左右,就是周末买菜用，每六个月维
护从未落下,Oil每9个月换一次。。。

上个星期车子的前测距雷达坏了。这个测距雷达是长距离类型的，并不是泊车用的那一
类。车子的动态巡航、拥挤交通时自动走停、frontal collision warning等一大堆功
能都要用到它。
是怎样坏的呢？动态巡航，当雷达探测到前面有车的时候仪表板上会亮起一个红色小车
的图标。那天在高速上跑，打开了巡航功能。那时前面有车，红色小图标亮起来了，一
切正常。过了一阵子前面的车还在，但红色小图标突然熄灭了，接着车子就开始往上提
速。紧接着前面堵车，前车已经逐渐停下来，我的车还使劲加速往前冲（正常情况下它
会自动慢慢停下来），幸亏我一脚急刹车override了系统。
接下来的十几分钟，我重新打开了动态巡航。在前面有车的情况下，那盏小红灯时亮时
灭，当然车子也一会儿暴冲一会儿刹车。我脚放在刹车上一直提防着，就想看它最后想

synthetic oil 加过滤器自己搞的话也就是30美元，去外面做价格要翻倍. 遇上有良心
的shop翻倍，挣个labor钱，没良心的跟你说brake fluid is dirty and you need to
replace it, engine clean service should be performed on your car, air filter
is dirty...更不靠谱的anti freeze cap给你不拧紧，机油给你加多了或者加少了... |

有些车是直接能看到oil filter的 自己拧下来就行了
至于brake fluid is dirty 你可以信dealer的 等换刹车片的时候一起换（建议自己动
手能省不少）
airfilter is dirty：airfileter把盖子打开就能看见了 你要觉得脏就换 也就10块钱

filter, dirty engine oil starts to drip into your arms.
just b/c you feel like doing the work yourself is 便宜又放心, doesn't mean

i know some people always prefer to go to the dealership, b/c they don't
