原因就是两个星期前从LD的checking往我的BOA checking里转了$1000。
LD的checking account已经clear了。
BOA这边因为名字不一样，把钱又给退回去了。
还把outside bank transfer整个给disable了。 |

tate SDI。我记得有加州，纽约，罗德岛，剩下的记不清了。如果是这5个州，你工作的
话，就有这个保险。各州规定不同，到底能拿到平时工作的百分之几十工资。在其他州
，公司一般会提供这个险种，如果你买了，或者公司替你买了的话，到时候就可以找HR
办手续。我们公司的保险是给60％工资的。 |

enroll的时候没有和保险公司问清楚，只知道可以拿13 weeks 60% of paid leave. 眼
下快生了，在Benifit Dept的人让我直接去问保险公司，结果大吃一惊，basicly 他们
只cover 6 weeks paid leave,其余的1个半月时间只能变成unpaid leave了， 要拿到
up to 13 weeks paid leave 要医生要求或者有特殊的medical condition,所以想问问
这里有没有人试图在哺乳期延长paid leave的？Dr会帮忙吗？
有经验的jjmm share一下？ |

upto 13 weeks这句话，是说一年里的short term disability benefits只会pay upto 13
weeks.
那句up to 13 weeks并不是说产假就会给你13周，而是说各种医疗关系的leave一共给你给到13
周。产假可以给你保证那6~8周，不是保证13周，其他的就看你恢复情况了。不知道说明白了没有。 |

有cramping不能off work。我也想过做LEAVE WITHOUT PAY，但是好像这期间的医疗保险要自己交。我想问问有人办过这个么？美国医生不讲保胎的，我是不是找中国医生好办些？

insurance.
leave without pay is OK too, I don't think it will affect your insurance
premium. you get to check with your HR or insurance company. |

If your doctor think you should stay on bed rest for couple weeks then she
should write you a doctor's note. My doctor wrote me a note back then when I
was under your condition. My boss was being nice and let me work from home
for about a week and then let me work from home every other day so didn't
apply for the disability thing. Good luck! |

C section or not.
之后的话可以用paid family leave，这个可以一共有12周吧，但是前几周是有部分工
资拿的，后6周好像没有工资拿。

我们这里flexibility还是很大的，产假如果愿意，也可以挪到产前休的，当然你也牺
牲了产后的时间。 sick day，每年公司7天，7天以上，sick不上班的话，就算short
term disability，医生开假条
但是具体实施的时候，如果你平时就sick 1-2天，老板也不怎么care，所以大家其实每
年也没有怎么休sick day，除非真的很sick,一休得好几天的那种 ：） |
