sample size 很小的情况下 谈discrete data的shape本身就是不合适的 用tabular的
方式来describe discrete data distribution 要更加合适
你强制KS处理discrete data当然可以给出p值
当sample足够多的时候可以把discrete的data 近似于continuous来做 那么shape就
make sense
统计是为了看biological意义的
不是给个p值就行了
就你这个例子 你用KS 的p值能回答楼主提的问题吗？能说明treatment 引起了显著性
变化？
用KS从开始的null hypothesis就多加了shape的概念
楼主的data用两个算计来结果一致， 但如果楼主的data和你后面举例的data一样呢？
那你觉得是用KS说treatment 引起signicant 变化呢 还是说用wilcoxon 没有显著变化
吗？

domain. This is for continuous time. How about the property for discrete
time signal?
A: the circled convolution in time domain is related to multiplication in
frequency domain.
The question is not correct. linear convolution is for continuous frequency
(continuous time aperiodic signal and discrete time signal), circular
convolution is for discrete time and discrete frequency.

就不能说热死了，饿死了，撑死了，是吧？你几岁？
我说的是人在汉城（已经入境），有合法的韩国和美国的入境证件，但韩国当局以没有
离开美国的返程票拒绝出境登机。首先，没有任何明文规定非移民签证入境美国一定要
有回程机票，只是因为美国边境关员有discretionary的权力，所以他们把这个作为
discretion的一部分。但即使如此，最近几年也极少有直接拒绝入境的情况，而是最多
不给足6个月的入境时间。 而韩国边境官员是没有被赋予discretion的权力和义务去判
断一个人是否有资格入境美国。当然就更不要说在这个例子里，美国边境官员的
discretion从来都认为没有问题的条件，走狗反而还认为不行。
被你如此诟病的天朝制度，也仅仅是判断你是否有mandatory的出境资格，查的是各国
都明文规定的入境资格。 |

同 Linear Programming的关系。
Continuous Convex的理论70年代就基本成熟了。最经典的是70年的Rockafellar的
Convex Analysis。我就是读该书入门的。日本的几个数理工学家最近10年就在把
Continuous Convex的东西全部离散化（Discrete），例如最基本的continuous convex
Function 被他们用两个离散函数来表达（L-convex function, M-convex function）。
我们实际问题的大多数variable都是离散型的。所以他们的这项工作是很有意义的。
Discrete Convex 现在刚刚开始被日本及几个美国（Duke的Zipkin，Song）的研究者应
用到经济，经营，Game Theory，概率论里面。 |

第一，先不慌，心情先稳住，兵来将挡，水来土淹。我先给讲个worst case。2010年4月30的移民局decision。某秘鲁人，96年11月12入境，身份96年12月3日过期。一直非法居留，有非法打工。140 with PD 4-30-01 批准。07年7月16日，移民局发出递解通知。07年10月，他递交了485。移民局的最后决定，他之前非法打工不影响他现在转换身份。这个case应该算worst scenario了吧，还是一样皆大欢喜的结局。所以别担心。
第二，H1的过期时间是你的i94上的时间，也就是你的797收据过期的时间。你跟单位合同满或者辞职或者lay off，你算out of status，但是不算unlawful presence. 原则上H1是没有任何grace period的。但是，以你的收据上的时间为准。H1上应该有i94的，以i94的时间为准。你先查一下那个。
建议，赶紧找工作。我个人认为如果你能很快找到工作，就不用转其他身份。

non-exempt和exempt的区别其实是收入高低区分的，联邦有FLSA来规定是不是该员工是
exempt.
加州的民猪党其实钻了一个空子，就是应该用总收入determine non-exempt还是exempt
，现在改用hourly rate.这样算起来，其实员工的总收入是远远高于FLSA的limit的。
你们应该去法院告这个恶法

to anything.
I accept this statement as I accept Quantum Mechanics, that the world is
discrete in the smallest scale, and the observation itself affects the thing
being observed. There's a probability distribution on where that discrete
energy or entity locates at each place (of course in the smallest scale).

it depends. if you use NVIDIA graphics cards, and install NVIDIA PRIME, you
can switch between onboard (built-in GPU) or discrete GPU via the PRIME
settings.
If you choose discrete GPU in PRIME, on some motherboards, even you connect

RFIC就难了。
好像很多做最后成品的公司，都招做discrete的阿？限制肯定是有的，但是好像这些公
司还是support H1B的吧，有个师妹研究不是搞这个的，也给招去了。
另外请教一下，是不是做discrete的主要是load-pull的仿真/测量和input/output
impedance matching阿？另外的PA设计，从EE的角度，还要注意什么？现在class C/D/
E/F的技术，在1~2GHz的频段，PAE和带宽可以去到哪里了？non-linearity是不是还是
主要的瓶颈？谢谢~ |
