库比亚克这个lab rule可以说是insensitive，但这种看似偶然的一个insensitive
remark其实反映的是长期的偏见和disrespect。换句话说，如果他对华裔有足够的尊重

UCSD和库比亚克本人对这件事的反应有这么几个特点：
1.反应速度极快
2.校方和本人的道歉信完全是generic的措辞
3.关于下一步的要做什么，没有给出细节和time line.
我的看法，UCSD和库本人都意识到这个事件的严重性，他们的策略是在最短时间内把它
平息下来，get over with，但不想做任何实质性改变。
这事情如果发生在我们学校，肯定也是如此处理，学校肯定是要护着教授，不会因为互
联网上的一些声音而处置一个long time faculty member。
