根据我们系的情况，现在基本上有两个方向可以选择
一个是macro,基本都是做些DSGE model，现在这个领域比较热的可能是New Keynesian
model。我个人对macro比较感兴趣，比较喜欢跟GDP， inflation， unemployment...
这些大的概念打交道。而且比较喜欢解model，不喜欢像micro那种data方面的琐碎事情。
但是做这个方向的教授我不是很喜欢，她对中国有点意见，有时候会让人心理不舒服，
系里只有她一个人做这个方向。而且这个方向难度还是很大的，以后估计会很难熬。还
有，一次另外一个教授说了一句，现在macro有点out of date，我不是很了解，现在
macro真的过时了吗？
另外一个可能是做regional economic analysis,有点偏applied econometrics。个人
觉得会有点枯燥，不像macro那样很多story telling，纯计量的东西比较多。而且
regional的话，我担心以后找工作会有限制。系里现在有几个教授都 |

来； 但是去年我已经有一3人的committe了。 现在我不太清楚的是
（1）不明白为什么这个教授很想加入（虽然我挺想加他进来的); 这个教授资历很老了
， 是个比较牛的教授 但是本人的资质说实话并不是很好， 并不是那种可造之材。 不
知道 这个和他的业绩有关系么； 可是他从来就不缺学生带的。 在国内的时候好像很
难让很牛的教授做导师吧； 至少人家不会主动贴上来吧。
（2）如果我请这个教授加入 ， 已经在我committe的其他教授会不会有什么想法。
请过来人执教一下。 谢谢。 |

paper: 4 journal, 9 conference, 2 book chapter, 基本都是第一作者;
一个patent 在写, 估价来不及放上去
citation: 不多, 独立大概65, 不过分布感觉还可以
有几个好大学的dissertation引了, 但是就一两句话, 不知道要不要强调
另外有两片小paper大段介绍我做的东西, 想问问该在哪里强调一下?
律师只是让我把google scholar的页面打印出来
review: 大概70多次, 大多是些不知名杂志
另外给有的会议只有invitation, 没有review完的thank you email, 不知道
要不要写上去?
律师没有让我问任何editor要RL, 我是不是要跟她说去要一封?

my attorney told me delete the dissertation from the publication section.
seems to them, dissertation/thesis doesn't belong to publication. I guess
that is the reason that your attorney doesn't let you count citation for

查，学生不忿起诉法庭，法庭下令导师不得靠经学生100尺之内，学校还必须让学生使

师又闹翻，说新导师骚扰他。然后学校以学术原因把学生放在probation,继而开除。法
