老婆不上班会让老公因为失业而更容易自杀的数据。我听到的是老婆没有上班其实是家
里的一个“security net”。因为如果先生失业了，老婆可以出去工作。另外，美国对
有disability的人还是有Long Term Disability或Social Secuirty的保护的，失业的
有失业金可以拿一阵子。不太至于因为先生失业而走投无路吧。
我想stay-at-home的家庭一般家里虽然财政方面吃紧一点，但是生活节奏方面的压力会
小很多。这也是我为什么选择做全职太太/妈妈的主要原因。我老公现在习惯了我在家

In the movie "American Beauty," Annett Benin clamored for a divorce, and Kevin
Spacey asked, "On what gtround?" That shut Ms. Benin up. I don't know which
state the characters were supposed to be living in.
As for one spouse refusing to grant a divorce, it depends on which state you
live. In Massachusetts (where I live) I have found no precedents that denied a
divorce under the circumstances. In New York state, there are many. |

A. Texas is a "No Fault Divorce State". "No Fault" means that one spouse
DOES NOT have to "prove" the other spouse has done anything "wrong" in order
to obtain a divorce. You CAN NOT be held in a marriage if the other spouse
does not want to sign or refuses to participate in the divorce process.

关于离婚，在精华区信息很少，所以把经验贴一贴，希望斑竹能收藏。
我的帖子是给姐妹们看的。如果你是男的，要砸砖请绕道。
因为双方都工作，没有孩子，所以我的情况比较简单。但我建议即使情况复杂也应该先
了解清楚法律程序再找律师。
一，想清楚是不是要离婚。和闺蜜们多谈谈，想清楚自己的婚姻状况和生活目标，是不
是只有离婚才能解决问题。这样离婚后不至于突然失去生活重心而无所适从甚至后悔。
离婚中最重要就是精神支持。当然首先是自己想清楚，但寻求外界帮助无可厚非。一方面是旁观者清，可以客观地看一下问
题。另一方面也是精神上的支持和安慰。但女性的心理承受能力是比较弱一些，所以社会才有这么多慈善组织帮助妇女离婚
和离婚后的精神辅助。如果一个人自己有很好的朋友网络，不是比找慈善组织的陌生人要好吗？
自己想清楚很重要。很多人，包括我自己，都是真正考虑了好几个月才决定
