1. 好像美国公司都eligible 给雇员办h1b，但是就看公司愿不愿意，肯不肯花钱了。
2. 公司办h1b除了需要出钱，填表，准备材料的责任外，还要
a. 如果解雇你，要出回国机票钱（uscis网站规定）
b. h1b批准后，要keep record，以防移民局来查。

标 题: 关于老中今年只有7000 H1B 的一点感想

今年老中H1B只有印度人的1/7， 7000余人。
按统计，每年在美留学的老中共有10万+（新生+老生），这个比例确实低了些。但是，
这个10万+是当年所有学生签证的总和，考虑到读本科、硕士和PhD的不同类型，大概平
均4年毕业，也就是目前每年毕业老中大概10万/4=2.5万。这样一算，其实也不用太悲
观，大约1/3-1/4的人留下来了。
烙印猛就猛在ICC直接从印度搬运。IT行业老中的生存环境确实堪忧。所以在此呼吁一
下，理工科的在校生，能转专业到CS要趁早，这个行业的老中，太少了。

下我这个时间线正常不正常：
建筑设计专业，master, EB2,自己找律师,加州，没有被audit和要求补件，公司很积极
配合
2012.9 把材料都给律师了，开始申请
2013.1 等了很久，才收到Prevailing Wage Determination的批准，之后打广告
2013.3 递交PERM
现在http://icert.doleta.gov/看才批到2013.1月，照这个速度，等我批下来也要1年了。
有同时间段申请的筒子们说说我这个正不正常，不然我老怀疑我的律师拖拖拉拉。
还有个问题，如果拿到PERM之后换个律师，有没有什么问题？ |
